REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday December 2 through Tuesday December 7, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Humphreys, Hickman, Dickson, Rutherford, Giles, Marshall, Maury, and Williamson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair: Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and exit 19 (Adams).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing.

I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39) and between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 60 to MM 64)

DAVDISON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 45 (OHB) to I-65:Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, 8PM-6AM, and Saturday December 4, 8AM-6PM, There will be lane closures from the I-24/I-65 split eastbound and westbound to the Old Hickory Blvd. exit in order to texture coat the parapet.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Bridge Repair:Wednesday December 8, 8PM-5AM, I-24 westbound from mile marker 48.8 (Woodland Street bridge) to 47.6 (Spring Street bridge), two right lanes closed to repair potholes in bridge deck. One lane and ramps will remain open.

REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:Tuesday December 7, 9AM-2PM, There will be mobile operations on I-24 in Rutherford County (MM 70-97) for striping testing.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:Sunday December 5, 7AM to 12 Noon, On I-24 at mile marker 74.0 and mile marker 76.0 and on SR-840 at mile marker 53.0 interchange, in Rutherford County. This request, by AT&T for double lashing Fiber Optic Cable on existing strands over I-24 and SR-840, six police cars will be present.

COFFEE COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing project from U.S. 41 (MM 105) to SR-55 (MM 111): There will be no lane closures necessary during this time period. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and installing barrier rail. The contractor will have a lane closure on I-24 East between MM 151 - 153 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM to install portable barrier rail. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012.

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the U.S. 27 ramp to I-24 East (MM 177-179) and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 181-183): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures in both I-24 work zones from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform bridge rehabilitation work. At least one lane will be maintained at all times. At the I-24 Eastbound bridge site, a traffic shift is now in place, and I-24 East traffic will utilize the marked two-lane Exit 178 off-ramp as an I-24 East detour so the contactor can perform work on the bridge deck of I-24 East over U.S. 27 North in downtown Chattanooga. This traffic shift will be in place until the project is completed. I-24 westbound traffic will not be affected. TheSouth Seminole Bridge over I-24 in Chattanooga is now reduced single-lane bridge. This one-lane operation is necessary to make repairs to the concrete deck surface of the bridge. Traffic signals have been installed at each end of the bridge to regulate the flow of traffic through the area. This one-lane traffic operation will remain in place while the repairs to the bridge are being completed. Motorists are advised to anticipate short delays when traveling through this area. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

Wednesday December 1, midnight through Wednesday December 8: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:Wednesday December 8 and Thursday December 9, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Repairs will be made onI-40 in Shelby County, east and west bound between Exit 2/Chelsea Avenue and Exit 5/Hollywood Drive. One lane will remain open.

REGION IV On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday December 1 through Wednesday December 8, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.

One lane will remain open.

Thursday December 2 through Friday December 3, 8PM-5AM, Closure of inside lane I-40 eastbound for median access.
Thursday, December 2, 9AM to 3PM, Shoulder closure and traffic shift on I-40 eastbound flyover ramp to northbound Briley Parkway to saw and seal concrete pavement joints.

Saturday December 4, 7AM-5PM, Closure of I-40 eastbound outside lane to stripe off-ramp at White Bridge Road and to shift traffic to new ramp.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Sinkhole Repair on I-40 at Exit 221-A (Old Hickory Boulevard):Friday December 3, 9PM through Monday December 6, 5AM, The I-40 eastbound ramp at the junction of SR 45 northbound (exit 221A) Old Hickory Blvd. will be closed for sinkhole repair.

REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:Wednesday December 8, 9AM-2PM, There will be mobile operations on I-40 in Smith County (MM 250-259) for striping testing.

REGION 3, On-Call Concrete Repair:Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, 8AM-4PM, The ramp at exit 258 (Carthage/Gordonsville) on I-40 eastbound will be shifted to one side in order to replace deteriorated concrete. The ramp will remain open.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for potential traffic pacing due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair. All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from SR-136 (MM 287, LM 19.65) to Falling Water River (MM 292, LM 24.16): The contractor will have nighttime lane and shoulder closures on I-40 from 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights to perform paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West between Holston River Bridge (MM 395) and Asheville Highway (MM 394):On Tuesday, December 7, 2010, motorists should be alert for a left lane closure between 9 a.m. and Noon as crews perform maintenance on ITS devices. Motorists should use extreme caution and expect potential delays traveling through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East between Mile Markers 1.7 and 1.9On Wednesday, December 8, 2010, motorists should be alert for a left lane closure between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform maintenance on ITS devices. Motorists should use extreme caution and expect potential delays traveling through this area.

REGION IV Maintenance:Monday December 6 through Thursday December 9, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be a night time lane closure I-240 southbound from Walnut Grove Road to Poplar Avenue (Mile Marker 13.0 to Mile Marker 15.0) for patching potholes. Two southbound lanes will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.

Wednesday December through Wednesday December 8, There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (Mile Marker 8.0 to Mile Marker 9.0) in order to perform bridge construction between Bridge 1 & 2. One northbound lane will remain open.

I-55, Shelby County, southbound Exit 12C, @ Metal Museum Drive, ramp shift left.

I-155

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River:Wednesday December 1 through Wednesday December 8: Beginning at Mile Marker 9 in Missouri and extending to Mile Marker 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday December 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be two lanes closed on I-65 southbound at State Route 840 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and the bridge over the Harpeth River for paving and placement of shoulder stone in order to shift traffic. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):Thursday December 2 through Wednesday December 8: No closures scheduled.

FUTURE I-69

OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:

NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 North bridge rehabilitation of the bridge over Big Spring Creek (MM 1.17 right): This project is complete and awaiting final inspection. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North between Merchants Drive (MM 108) and Callahan Drive (MM 110):On Tuesday, December 7, 2010, motorists should be alert for a left lane closure between Noon and 3 p.m. as crews perform maintenance on ITS devices. Motorists should use extreme caution and expect potential delays traveling through this area.
