REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Monday January 3 through Wednesday January 5, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Rutherford, Smith, and Wilson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Tuesday, January 4, and Wednesday, January 5; 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit. (Weather permitting)
 
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Tuesday, January 4, and Wednesday, January 5; 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and exit 19 (Adams). (Weather permitting)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Tuesday, January 4, and Wednesday, January 5; 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Tuesday, January 4, and Wednesday, January 5; 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. (Weather permitting)
  • Tuesday, January 4, and Wednesday, January 5; 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes. (Weather permitting)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
  • Monday January 3 through Wednesday January 5, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39) and between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 60 to MM 64)
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and performing grading work. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

  • Monday January 3 at 8:00 a.m.  through Wednesday January 5: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:Tuesday January 4 through Wednesday January 5, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Repairs will be made onI-40 in Shelby County, east and west bound between Exit 2/Chelsea Avenue and Exit 5/Hollywood Drive. One lane will remain open.

FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.: The contractor is currently installing construction signs and will begin work on the bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is December 2012. 
 
CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 160 and 134: On Tuesday, January 4, 2011, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various locations through this area as crews perform pothole repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
