Repairs on Facilities’ Sewage Systems Complete

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. –TDOT has reopened the Welcome Center on I-24 West and the Rest Area on I-24 East at mile marker 160 near Nickajack Lake in Marion County. The facilities were temporarily closed last week because of sewage system problems that required TDOT maintenance and contract
workers to make emergency repairs. The repairs are now complete, and both facilities are open once again for the convenience of the traveling public.
