Weekend Work Continues on I-440 & I-40 at White Bridge Road

NASHVILLE – Motorists traveling in the Nashville area this weekend should be on alert for lane closures associated with two separate road construction projects. The projects will impact travel on Interstate 440 and Interstate 40 on the west side of Nashville. The lane closures are as follows:
 
Concrete Pavement Repair on I-440
 
Friday February 19, 8:00 p.m. through Monday February 22, 6:00 a.m., I-440 eastbound from the I-65 junction to the I-24 junction will be closed in order to remove and replace damaged concrete areas.

I-40 and White Bridge Road Interchange Modification

Friday February 19, 12 Noon through Sunday February 21, 7:00 p.m., The on-ramp from 46th Avenue to I-40 West will be closed for beam storage.
 
Saturday February 20 and Sunday February 21, 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., (each day), The two left turn lanes of the I-40 westbound off ramp at White Bridge Rd. will be closed in order to install bridge beams. Also, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound. Rolling roadblocks should be 30 minutes or less in duration.
 
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes around these construction projects.
