REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday April 15 through Tuesday April 20, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Sumner, Williamson, Rutherford, Robertson, Montgomery, Giles, and Marshall Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

TDOT Maintenance:
       CHEATHAM, MONTGOMERY, and ROBERTSON COUNTIES
o    Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24   eastbound and westbound in Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties between MM 6 and MM 24 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open.   
       DAVIDSON COUNTY
o    Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
o    Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
o    Tuesday April 20 and Wednesday April 21, 8PM-5AM, Alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound between mile marker 52 and mile marker 54 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
o    Thursday April 15, 7PM-5AM, Two right lanes on I-24 westbound between mile marker 62 and mile marker 61 will be closed for French drain installation. Two lanes will remain open.
o    Saturday April 17, 6AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks in the left lane at the following locations in Davidson County for cleaning grates and removing vegetation:
§ I-24 eastbound from mile marker 53 to mile marker 63
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)
       Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and Harding Place (MM 54 to MM 56)
·         Friday at 8pm to Monday at 6am, one left lane closed in each direction, 3 lanes remain open.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Maintenance on Traffic Counter Loops:Thursday April 15, 10PM-6AM, There will be two lanes closed on I-24 westbound at MM 70.0 near Baker Road in order to repair traffic counter loops. At least two lanes will remain open at all times.

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. On weekdays during non-peak hours, the contractor will have a right lane closure on SR-29 South at MM 2.5. Three lanes are to remain open with third available lane used as acceleration lane for on-ramp from Manufacturers Road. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 pm. and 5:00 a.m., nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River 
       Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans):
o    Wednesday April 14, 12AM through Friday April 16, 7PM: There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed.
o    Friday April 16, 7PM through Monday April 19, 6AM: There will be one eastbound lane & two westbound lanes closed.
o    Monday April 19, 6AM through Wednesday April 21: There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed.
       Various closures for existing four lane section (east of the arch spans):
o    Friday April 16, 7PM through Monday April 19, 6AM: There will be one westbound lane closed.
o    Friday April 16, 7PM through Monday April 19, 6AM: The westbound entrance ramp (Ramp IL/D) located just east of the arch spans will be closed.

REGION IV Maintenance:Wednesday April 14 through Wednesday April 21, 8AM-4:00PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
 
DECATUR COUNTY-Resurfacing on I-40 at CARROLL CO. line LM-0.00 to the BENTON CO. line LM-5.67:Sunday April 18 through Friday April 23, 7PM-6PM, There will be night time lane closures eastbound and westbound (MM 121 to MM 126) in order to perform milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.  The speed limit has been reduced to 60 mph for the duration of the construction project.
 
REGION 4, Installation of Longitudinal Cable Barrier Rail on the Interstate (MM 133 to MM 43
HAYWOOD and DECATUR COUNTIES
       Wednesday April 14 through Tuesday April 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to install longitudinal cable barrier rail.
o    I-40, Haywood County, both directions (MM 60 to MM 43), 1 lane to remain open.
o    I-40, Henderson County, westbound (MM 99 to MM 102), 1 lane to remain open.

o    I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 187-189 in Cheatham County
o    I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 192-194 in Davidson County
o    I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 250-257 in Smith County

       Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
       Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    I-40, both directions, between Donnelson Pike and Spence Lane (MM 216 to MM 213). Periodic short-term closures for working on DMS 38, 39, 40, and 41, one to two right or left lanes closed.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 10AM-10:15 AM and 1PM to 1:15 PM, (excluding weekends), There will be rolling roadblocks for both eastbound and westbound I-40 for blasting on the north side of I-40.
       Thursday April 15 and Friday April 16, 8AM-5PM, Traffic on Urbandale Ave. will be flagged in order to set bridge deck panels.
       Monday April 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 westbound at White Bridge Road in order to patch potholes. Two lanes will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on New Hope Rd. over I-40
       Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 8PM-5AM, (excluding weekends),  There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 (MM 221.8) at New Hope Rd. in order to perform concrete repairs. One lane will remain open.
       New Hope Road is closed for bridge deck repairs until Friday April 30. Detours are in place.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for a potential rolling road block due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is July 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West at Mile Markers 340.8, 343.5, 356 and 362.1:On Tuesday night, April 20, 2010 motorists should be alert for a lane closure between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East between Mile Markers 347 and 352: On Monday night, April 19, 2010 through Thursday, April 22, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West at Mile Marker 355: On Sunday night, April 18, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure at Mile Marker 355 as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West at Mile Marker 359: On Thursday night, April 15, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure at Mile Marker 359 as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, I-40 East at Mile Marker 364:On Tuesday night, April 20, 2010 motorists should be alert for a lane closure between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):I-40 East and West is reduced to two lanes through this area as crews perform phase 2 of bridge deck repairs and resurfacing. I-40 in this area will be reduced to two lanes around the clock until bridge deck repairs are complete. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential long delays during morning and evening rush hours, and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East near the North Carolina State Line: I-40 East remains closed near the North Carolina state line due to a rockslide approximately three miles inside North Carolina. I-40 East is closed just east of the Waterville Exit (Exit 451). I-40 thru traffic should follow I-81 North (Exit 421) to I-26 East (Exit 57A) towards Asheville; however, all exits on I-40 in Tennessee are open and accessible. For updated information, go to: http://www.tdot.state.tn.us/rockslide.htm

       Saturday April 17, 6AM-8PM and Sunday April 18, 6AM-12 Noon, I-440 westbound from I-24 to I-65 will be closed in order to stripe the roadway and install snowplowable markers.
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday April 15 through Wednesday April 21, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    I-440, both directions, between Hillsboro Pike and I-24 (MM 3 to MM 7)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:Sunday April 18, 6AM-6PM, On I-440 and Franklin Pike Interchange approx. 0.19 miles east of its intersection with I-65. This request, by Tennessee Valley Authority, is for pulling three transmission lines. Cranes with rollers will be set up with TVA police cars and flaggers. No rolling stop blocks are expected.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 East at Mile Marker 3: On Monday night, April 19, 2010 motorists should be alert for a lane closure between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

REGION IV Maintenance:Wednesday April 14 through Wednesday April 21, 8AM-4:00PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
       Wednesday April 14 through Wednesday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (MM 8 to MM 9) in order to perform bridge construction (Bridge 1, Mallory Ave. overpass). One westbound lane will remain open.

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair: No scheduled lane closures. Shoulders on the bridge remain closed for bridge repair work.

       Saturday April 17 and Sunday April 18, 5AM-9PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. for utility work. One lane will remain open in each direction.

SUMNER COUNTY, Bridge repair of two bridges on I-65 over U.S. 31W & on US 31W over US 41
       Thursday April 15, 6AM through Wednesday April 21, 8PM, There will be one lane closed on SR 41 in each direction (under the I-65 bridge) and one lane closed in each direction on SR 11 (under the SR 41 bridge) for bridge painting. One lane will remain open in each direction.
       Friday April 16, 8PM through Monday April 19, 6AM, There will be one lane on I-65 southbound closed for concrete repairs. One lane will remain open.  


I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 widening project from 1.1 miles south of Lee Highway (SR-2, US-11) to 1.2 miles north of Lee Highway (SR-2, SR-11): The contractor will only need a lane closure on I-75 during this period if there is an emergency situation which requires maintenance of items. If a lane closure is required, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times. 
       The contractor will have lane closures on Hill Top Road, Hunter Road, Snow Hill Road, Mountain View Road, Lee Highway, and Old Lee Highway from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM to construct new roadway and accommodate bridge construction. However, the contractor must move off the roadway from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM each day during the shift change at Miller Industries. One lane will remain open at all times.
Estimated completion date is December 2010. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 South between Merchants Drive (Exit 108) and I-640 Interchange:On Tuesday night, April 20, 2010 and Wednesday night, April 21, 2010, motorists should be alert for lane closures in this area between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews install overhead signs. Motorists should expect potential long delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South between Exit 128 (Lake City) and Mile Marker 127: Motorists should be alert for workers present, equipment entering and exiting the roadway and use extreme caution through this noise wall construction project.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 South at Mile Markers 135.5 and 137.9: On Sunday night, April 18, 2010 motorists should be alert for a lane closure between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 57 and 63:Motorists should be alert for lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning as crews mill and resurface the roadway. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 Northbound and Southbound north of the I-26 Interchange:On Thursday, April 15, 2010 through Wednesday, April 21, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Exit 69 and Exit 74:Motorists should be alert for lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning as crews mill and resurface the roadway. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution traveling through this area.
