Tennessee Aquarium Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Earth Day

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Tennessee Aquarium will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 24.

Earth Day is a grassroots movement to protect vital natural resources. In recognition of its celebration, the aquarium will join more than 100 zoos and aquariums across North America by hosting a "Party for the Planet" celebration.

Visitors will find family fun, entertainment, special feedings, educational demonstrations and close-up encounters with animals throughout River Journey and Ocean Journey as well as outside on the Aquarium plaza. Activities include costumed characters meet-and-greets, musical entertainment and more.
