TWRA to Participate in Lenior City Boating Safety Day, May 1

 NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will be participating in the Boating Safety Day on Saturday, May 1 at the Lenoir City Park.
 
The family-oriented event is the first ever Boating Safety Day in Lenoir City. The TWRA will have its personal watercraft simulator for attendees to enjoy and the Wear It! Tennessee boat will be present as well.
 
The Boating Safety Day is sponsored by Sea Tow in partnership with the TWRA as well as the Wear It! Tennessee program, U.S. Coast Guard, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, the U.S. Power Squadrons, and the Fort Loudoun Lake Association.
 
The event will run from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Boaters can bring their boats, by water or on a trailer, and receive a free U.S. Coast Guard safety inspection. Boaters of all ages will have the opportunity to learn about safe boating through demonstrations throughout the day.
