TDOT Closes Mill Creek Bridge on Highway 100 in Hickman County

NASHVILLE – Due to this week’s flooding, the approaches to the Mill Creek bridge on State Route 100 have deteriorated making the bridge unsafe for travel. The Tennessee Department of Transportation has closed the bridge until further notice.
 
TDOT crews are currently assessing the bridge conditions and information will be provided to motorists as it becomes available. TDOT is recommending the following detour for motorists who use this bridge on State Route 100 in Hickman County.
 
Detour for West bound traffic:   Traveling west on State Route 100, take State Route 46 to I-40 west. Follow I-40 west to the exit onto State Route 48. Follow SR 48 back to State Route 100.
 
Detour for Eastbound traffic: From State Route 100 take State Route 48 to I-40 East. Travel east to State Route 46 and exit. Follow State Route 46 back to State Route 100.
