 DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)

       Tuesday June 15 or Wednesday June 16, 8PM-12 Midnight. There will be one lane closed on I-40 westbound in order to close the gap in the barrier wall.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.)

       Monday June 14 through Wednesday June 16, 1PM-1:15PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to blast for ramp widening.

       Monday June 14 through Wednesday June 16, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to erect the steel bridge beams and remove the bridge deck.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, drainage, and paving of the I-40 ramps @ 2nd & 4th Ave.

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16: No closures scheduled.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from Haywood Lane to Rutherford Co. line

       Monday June 14 through Wednesday June 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating two lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on New Hope Rd. over I-40

       Thursday June 10, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to paint the bearing pads on the bridge.

       Thursday June 10, 7AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on New Hope Rd. in order to install guardrail at the bridge. Flaggers will be used.

 

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.

o    Briley Pkwy, both directions, between I-40 and Centennial Blvd (MM 6 to MM 27)

o    I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)

o    I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Wilson, Williamson and Smith Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, I-40 Emergency Bridge Repair at MM 150 & 152

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, (each day), There will be one lane closed on I-40 Westbound at MM 150 and on I-40 Eastbound at MM 152 for emergency bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Industrial Park Road Over Duck River(Recovery Act Project)

       Tuesday June 15 through Tuesday June 22, Industrial Park Road in Columbia will be closed in order to complete the “tie-ins” on each end of the project.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 13 (Wilma Rudolph) over the Red River

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. (SR 13) southbound over the Red River in order to perform bridge work.

 

ROBERTSON & CHEATHAM COUNTIES, Resurfacing on I-24

       Sunday June 13 through Wednesday June 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 17.0 to MM 31.0 for milling and paving operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Widening on Waldron Rd (Recovery Act Project)

       Monday June 14 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Waldron Rd. northbound between Bridgestone Pkwy and Murfreesboro Rd. for widening of the existing road. Flaggers will be used.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Bridge repair of two bridges on I-65 over U.S. 31W & on US 31W over US 41

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16: No closures scheduled.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Concord Rd. from Sunset Rd. to Edmondson Pike

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on Concord Road from Crockett Rd. to Sunset for dressing slopes. Flaggers will be utilized for this operation. 

       Now through approximately Thursday September 30, Concord Rd. will be closed from Edmondson Pike to Crockett Rd. in order to widen the roadway. Detours will be in place with message boards.

 

WILSON COUNTY, SR-171 (Mt Juliet Road) Widening: (Recovery Act Project)

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Mt. Juliet Road (SR-171) northbound and southbound, from Division Street to Lebanon Road, for the purpose of performing storm sewer installation.

 

WILSON COUNTY, SR 109 widening from I-40 to SR 24

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 from I-40 to US 70 (SR 24) for paving operations.

       Thursday June 10 and Friday June 11, 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 from I-40 to Division St. for paving operations.

 

 

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

Davidson County

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes. 

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends),Two right lanes will be closed on I-24 westbound from mile marker 39 to mile marker 43 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM There will be temporary slowdown in the following locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. 

o    SR 1 from the 0.0 mile marker to the 12.0 mile marker

o    SR 24 from the 0.0 mile marker to the 6.0 mile marker

o    SR 251 from the 0.0 mile marker to the 9.0 mile marker    

Dickson County, Hickman, & Humphreys Counties

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on I-40 in Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

Cheatham County

       Thursday June 10 through Wednesday June 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189 and mile marker 191 in order to patch potholes and repair concrete on bridge deck. One lane will remain open. 

Lincoln County

       Thursday June 10 through Friday June 11, 6PM-6AM, The center lane and north bound inside lane will be closed on State Route 10 at mile marker 10.5 to 10.6 for bridge repair. One lane will remain open.

Moore County, TDOT HQ Geotechnical

       Thursday June 10 or Friday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on SR 55 over East Mulberry Creek in Moore County in order to bore the roadway.

 

TDOT Utilities

       Thursday June 10 through Friday June 11,9AM-3PM, On SR-6, Gallatin Pike in front of Spring Hill Cemetery outside northbound lane in Davidson County. This request is for drilling and setting new poles.

       Sunday June 13, 7AM-11AM, On I-40 at mile marker 223.6, 2.2 miles west of Mount Juliet Exit in Wilson County.

This request by Middle Tennessee Electric, for changing an existing single phase line to a three phase line that now crosses I-40. Four rolling stop blocks are expected, police cars will be present.

       Monday June 14 through Thursday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on SR 6 (Gallatin Rd.) from Anderson Lane to One Mile Pike in order for NES to perform utility work.

       Sunday June 13 and Sunday June 20, 7PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on Nolensville Rd.(6600 block) just north of Concord Rd. for a utility crossing.

 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
