 DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30: No closures scheduled.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.)

       Thursday June 24 and Monday June 28 through Wednesday June 30, 1PM-1:15PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to blast for ramp widening.

       Thursday June 24 and Monday June 28 through Wednesday June 30, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to place jack supports for existing girders.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, drainage, and paving of the I-40 ramps @ 2nd & 4th Ave.

       Thursday June 24 and Friday June 25, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 northbound from Wedgewood to 4th Ave. exit) in order to install guardrail along the ramp.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from Haywood Lane to Rutherford Co. line

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating two lane closure on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

       Friday June 25, 8PM though Monday June 28, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to perform bridge repairs. Two lanes will remain open.

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, Traffic on the ramps will be shifted in order to perform repairs. All ramps will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.

o    Briley Pkwy, both directions, between I-40 and Centennial Blvd (MM 6 to MM 27)

o    I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)

o    I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)

o    I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pkwy (MM 70 to MM 97)

o    I-440, both directions, between Hillsboro Pike and I-24 (MM 3 to MM 7)

o    Ellington Pkwy, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and Spring St

REGION 3 Safety Improvements on Various State Routes

REGION 3 Installation of Cable Barrier:

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 westbound between MM 7-8 in Davidson County in order to install cable barrier rail.

 

REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys, and Williamson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

 

REGION 3 On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair

       Monday June 28 through Wednesday June 30, 8PM-5AM, The ramps on I-65 northbound and southbound at Armory Dr. will be closed in order to saw cut the concrete for repairs.

 

REGION 3 Retracing of Pavement Markings

       Thursday June 24 and Friday June 25, 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling lane closures on I-65 northbound from MM 104 to MM 119 in order to restripe the roadway.

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, I-40 Emergency Bridge Repair at MM 150 & 152

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 6AM-8PM, (each day), There will be one lane closed on I-40 Westbound at MM 150 and on I-40 Eastbound at MM 152 for emergency bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Industrial Park Road Over Duck River(Recovery Act Project)

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30: No closures scheduled.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 13 (Wilma Rudolph) over the Red River

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. (SR 13) southbound over the Red River in order to perform bridge work.

 

ROBERTSON & CHEATHAM COUNTIES, Resurfacing on I-24

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 17.0 to MM 31.0 for milling and paving operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Widening on Waldron Rd (Recovery Act Project)

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Waldron Rd. northbound between Bridgestone Pkwy and Murfreesboro Rd. for widening of the existing road. Flaggers will be used.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Bridge repair of two bridges on I-65 over U.S. 31W & on US 31W over US 41

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30: No closures scheduled.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Concord Rd. from Sunset Rd. to Edmondson Pike

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on Concord Road from Crockett Rd. to Sunset for dressing slopes. Flaggers will be utilized for this operation. 

       Now through approximately Thursday September 30, Concord Rd. will be closed from Edmondson Pike to Crockett Rd. in order to widen the roadway. Detours will be in place with message boards.

 

WILSON COUNTY, SR-171 (Mt Juliet Road) Widening: (Recovery Act Project)

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be temporary lane closures on Mt. Juliet Road (SR-171) northbound and southbound, from Division Street to Lebanon Road, for the purpose of performing storm sewer installation. 

 

WILSON COUNTY, SR 109 widening from I-40 to SR 24

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30: No closures scheduled.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

Davidson County

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be temporary slowdowns in the following locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. 

o    SR 1 from the 0.0 mile marker to the 12.0 mile marker

o    SR 24 from the 0.0 mile marker to the 6.0 mile marker

o    SR 251 from the 0.0 mile marker to the 9.0 mile marker

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends),There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound at the 87.3 mile marker (Trinity Lane) for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 7PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks in the left lane in Davidson County for cleaning grates and removing vegetation.      

Dickson County, Hickman, & Humphreys Counties

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on I-40 in Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

Cheatham County

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189 and mile marker 191 in order to patch potholes and repair concrete on bridge deck. One lane will remain open.

Robertson County

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), The right lane will be closed on I-65 southbound in Robertson County from the 111.0 mile marker to 112.0 mile marker for pavement repair. One lane will remain open.

Rutherford County

       Thursday June 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound at the Medical Center Parkway/Manson Pike interchange for replacing light bulbs in the median.

 

TDOT Utilities

       Thursday June 24 through Friday July 2,9AM-3PM, On SR-6, Gallatin Pike in front of Spring Hill Cemetery outside northbound lane in Davidson County. This request by NES is for drilling and setting new poles.

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on SR 6 (Gallatin Rd.) from Anderson Lane to One Mile Pike in order for NES to perform utility work.

       Sunday June 27, 7AM-11AM, at the I-24 and Old Hickory Blvd. interchange (Exit 40) in Davidson County. This request by American Fiber Systems, for two overhead aerial crossings. Two rolling stop blocks are expected. Six police cars will be present.

       Monday June 28, 8AM through Friday July 2, 6AM, There will be one lane closed on SR 6 (Gallatin Rd.) (Sumner County) from Maple St. to Fairground Rd. in order to replace sewer lines that were damaged by the flood.

Metro Nashville Local Program Project

       Thursday June 24 through Wednesday June 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on West End Ave. from I-440 east ramp to Bowling Ave. for sidewalk repair.

 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
