ONLY - The Turney Center Industrial Prison is doing its part to help flood victims on the road to recovery.  More than 50 TDOC employees experienced significant loss during the May floods.  Six Turney Center employees suffered damage.  On Wednesday, a special benefit will be held at the prison to help raise money for staff affected by the floods.

"It is inspiring to see so many TDOC employees come together to help each other," said Commissioner Gayle Ray.  "Many of our staff suffered damage ranging from several feet of water in their homes to total losses of homes, cars, valuables and precious items that cannot be replaced."

The Turney Center flood benefit will include live music, a silent auction and lots of food.  The public is invited to attend.  Donations will be accepted and 100% of the proceeds will go to flood victims.
