TDOT to Hold Ribbon Cutting for Recovery Act Funded Bridge Project in Gibson County

Jackson, Tenn. – Representatives from the Tennessee Department of Transportation will join state and local leaders in Gibson County Thursday, July 1 to officially cut the ribbon on the project to replace three bridges on McMurry Road in Gibson County. It will mark the first official ribbon cutting ceremony for a project funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Funds.  The project was also the site of the first Recovery Act ground breaking ceremony. 
 
Thursday’s event will begin at 10:00 AM near three newly constructed bridges along McMurry Road, approximately 3 miles from Trenton. The event will last approximately 30 minutes.
