Media Advisory: Bedford County Commission Recognizes Bedford County Troopers

NASHVILLE --- The Bedford County Commission will recognize eight Tennessee State Troopers from the Bedford County detachment by official proclamation for their commitment to outstanding public service, professionalism, teamwork and improvement to highway safety throughout the community and the state. The proclamation will be presented by Mayor Eugene Ray at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 8 at the Bedford County Commission meeting.
 
WHO:             Bedford County Troopers: Lieutenant Johnny Hunter, Sergeant Monty Terry and
                      Troopers Chad McAnally, Barry Qualls, Jackie Smith, Tommie Boleyn, Patrick Turner,
                      Jessie Shumake; and
                      Dist. 7-Lawrenceburg Captain Steven Hazard, Lieutenant Colonel Tracy Trott

OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION
 
Whereas, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Bedford County Post, has provided outstanding service to this community for many years and has consistently demonstrated the highest level of professionalism while protecting the residents of this county; and
 
Whereas, state troopers with this post have exhibited unsurpassed teamwork in support of and while working with the local city and county public safety agencies and departments; and 
 
Whereas, this post’s unsurpassed commitment to the public has resulted in significant contributions to making the state and county highways within Bedford County safer for our residents, families and visitors; and
 
Whereas, Lieutenant Johnny Hunter, Sergeant Monty Terry, and troopers Chad McAnally, Barry Qualls, Jackie Smith, Tommie Boleyn, Patrick Turner, and Jessie Shumake are the members of this post; and
 
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Eugene Ray, Bedford County Mayor, do hereby proclaim to honor these members of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Bedford County Post, for their outstanding service to the residents of Bedford County.
