Waterfowl Blind Permit Drawings August 7

Thursday, July 15, 2010 | 05:17am
NASHVILLE --- Tennessee’s long-standing tradition of hand-drawn duck blind drawings will be held at the usual sites across the state on Saturday, August 7.

While hand drawings will be held for the majority of the locations, a computerized drawing system for blind sites on Bogota and the new Thorny Cypress Wildlife Management Area in Dyer County and the four units on the Chickamauga WMA (Candies Creek, Johnson Bottoms, Rogers Creek, and Yellow Creek) will be in place for this season.

The 2010-11 state waterfowl seasons will be established at the August 18-19 meeting of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission in Jackson. The TWRC serves as the governing body of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
