I-40 Reduced to One Lane for Flood Repair

JACKSON, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation crews are continuing efforts to repair the damage to roadway infrastructure caused by the May 2010 flooding.  Beginning Monday, July 19 through Wednesday, July 21 crews will close one lane of Interstate 40 in Henderson County in both directions at mile marker 95.5 each day from 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. in order to repair a damaged median drain.

Delta Contracting Company, LLC received the emergency flood repair contract. All work is weather dependent. Tennessee Highway Patrol will assist in traffic control.
