REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Hickman, Sumner, and Robertson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.
 
ROBERTSON & CHEATHAM COUNTIES, Resurfacing on I-24:Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 17.0 to MM 31.0 for milling and paving operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Median Drainage Improvement on I-24 near MM 53.0
  • Thursday July 22 and Monday July 26 through Wednesday July 28, 9PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound near MM 53.0 in order to set barrier rail and begin installing drainage.
  • Friday July 23, 9PM through Monday July 26, 5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound near MM 53.0 in order to set barrier rail and begin installing drainage. Four lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from Haywood Lane to Rutherford Co. line
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating two lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to fog seal the shoulders and install permanent pavement markings. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
  • Friday July 23, 8PM through Saturday July 24, 4PM, There will be two lanes closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound at Bell Rd. in order to install expansion joints on the bridge. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday), Traffic on the ramps will be shifted in order to place shoulder stone. All ramps will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on Interstates in Middle Tennessee in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 7PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks in the left lane in Davidson County for cleaning grates and removing vegetation.
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 8PM-5AM, One lane will be closed in both directions on I-24 between I-40 and the Rutherford County Line for drain cleaning.  Two lanes will remain open.
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the ramp to US-27, the ramp to US-27, and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 177 to 179 and MM 181 to 183): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures in both on I-24 work zones from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform bridge rehabilitation work. At least one lane will be maintained at all times. TheSouth Seminole Bridge over I-24 in Chattanooga is now reduced single-lane bridge. This one-lane operation is necessary to make repairs to the concrete deck surface of the bridge. Traffic signals have been installed at each end of the bridge to regulate the flow of traffic through the area. This one-lane traffic operation will remain in place for approximately four months while the repairs to the bridge are being completed. Motorists are advised to anticipate short delays when traveling through this area. Estimated project completion date is November 2011.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-26 East and West between Mile Markers 13 and 23: On Thursday night, July 22, 2010 through Monday night, July 19, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier and guardrail repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution traveling through this area.

DICKSON COUNTY, I-40 Emergency Bridge Repair:Thursday July 22 through Tuesday July 27, 9AM-3PM, (each day), There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 180.0 to MM 181.0 for emergency bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189 and mile marker 192 in order to patch potholes and repair concrete on bridge deck. One lane will remain open. 

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on Interstates in Middle Tennessee in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 8PM-5AM, One lane will be closed in both directions on I-65 at various locations between mile markers 65 (Exit 65: SR-96/Franklin-Murfreesboro) and 96 (Exit 96: Two Mile Pkwy./Goodlettsville) for drainage work. Two to three lanes will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
  • Friday July 23, 9PM through Monday July 26, 5AM, closure of inside lanes of I-40 eastbound and westbound. The center and inside lanes of eastbound and westbound I-40 will be closed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday and 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Sunday. These closures are to allow for overhead sign footings to be installed and the median wall to be replaced.
  • Friday July 23, 9PM to Sunday, July 25, 6PM, closure of I-40 eastbound ramp at White Bridge Road to excavate and install storm sewer across ramp. Detour signs will be in place.
 
DAVIDSON and WILSON COUNTIES, Resurfacing on I-40 from OHB (Davidson Co. MM 221) to MM 228
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday July 22, 8PM-6AM, The I-40 eastbound truck rest area will be closed in order to pave the entrance and exit areas.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width.  The possibility exists daily for a potential rolling road block due to rock blasting activities.  Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is August 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West at Lawnville Rd. (Exit 355):Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures on I-40 and expect possible lane closures on the Lawnville Rd. Bridge over I-40 during this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 Foothills Parkway (Exit 443): The Foothills Parkway East located between I-40 at Exit 443 and US 321 is closed by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service for construction rehabilitation. The roadway is estimated to reopen by August 20, 2010. Motorists wishing to access the Foothills Parkway East should follow signed detour route.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East bridge over the Pigeon River between Mile Markers 445 and 446: Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures across the bridge through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
  • Wednesday July 21 through Wednesday July 28, 9AM-3PM: There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (MM 8 to MM 9) in order to perform bridge construction between Bridges 1 & 2. One northbound lane will remain open.
 

I-155
 
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair: Wednesday July 21 through Wednesday July 28, 7AM-7AM: Beginning at MM 9 in Missouri and extending to MM 1 in Tennessee.  There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.
 
DYER COUNTY Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repairs on I-155 near the rest area LM-9.00 to US-51(SR-3) LM-15.93
  • Wednesday July 21 through Wednesday July 28, beginning at LM-9.00 and extending to LM-15.93. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for milling, resurfacing and traffic counter installation on I-155.
  • Wednesday July 21 through Wednesday July 28, beginning at LM-0.00 and extending to LM-1.00. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for milling, resurfacing and traffic counter installation on I-155.

REGION IV Maintenance:

o    I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pkwy (MM 70 to MM 97)

REGION 3 On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair
  • Saturday July 23, 3AM through Monday July 26, 6AM, The Armory Dr. ramp to I-65 northbound will be closed to pour concrete. Also, two lanes of I-65 northbound will be closed while pouring concrete in order to get equipment in and out. Three lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday July 27 and Wednesday July 28, 8PM-6AM, The Armory Dr. ramps to I-65 northbound and southbound will be closed to saw and seal joints.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.)
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9PM-5AM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform bridge work and drainage construction.
  • Thursday July 22 through Wednesday July 28, 9PM-5AM,(excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to install overhang jacks and metal decking.
  • Saturday July 24, 6AM-5PM, There will be one lane closed on Rosa Parks Blvd. eastbound in order to install a water line.


FUTURE I-69

OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 03, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be the first county road CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be the second county road CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.


I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 widening project from 1.1 miles south of Lee Highway (SR-2, US-11) to 1.2 miles north of Lee Highway (SR-2, SR-11): All lanes and permanent ramps are open to traffic. The contractor will have a possible shoulder closure on I-75 North and South from MM 10.0 to MM 12.0 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The temporary slip-ramp on Hilltop Road used to access I-75 South has been removed. Estimated completion date is August 2010. 
 
ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 118 and 123: Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, use extreme caution and expect potential long delays traveling through this area.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South between Exit 128 (Lake City) and Mile Marker 127: Motorists should be alert for workers present, equipment entering and exiting the roadway and use extreme caution through this noise wall construction project. 

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 144 and 160: On Thursday, July 22, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for milling and resurfacing. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution through this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, I-81 North at Mile Marker 9.5 and I-81 South at Mile Marker 7.9: On Sunday night, July 25, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution traveling through this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 0.3 and 0.6: On Sunday night, July 25, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution traveling through this area.
