TDA to Award Spay/Neuter Grants to Tennessee Organizations

Chattanooga, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Agriculture will announce the recipients of the animal spay/neuter grants at the Humane Educational Society on July 27. The grants supports low cost spay/neuter programs in Tennessee and are funded through Animal Friendly license plate sales. Speakers will include Tennessee Department of Agriculture Commissioner Ken Givens, humane animal care professionals and other state and local officials. Topics to be discussed include animal health, animal population control as well as stats from various animal care and rescue organizations.
