  • Thursday July 29 through Wednesday August 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on Interstates in Middle Tennessee in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday July 29 through Wednesday August 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.

REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday July 29 through Wednesday August 4, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Sumner, and Robertson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Median Drainage Improvement on I-24 near MM 53.0:
  • Friday July 30, 9PM through Monday August 2, 5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound near MM 53.0 in order to set barrier rail and install drainage.
  • Monday August 2 through Wednesday August 4, 9PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound near MM 53.0 in order to set barrier rail and install drainage.

TDOT Utilities:Sunday August 1, 6AM-11AM, On I-24 at the Antioch Pike Overpass in Davidson County. This request by Access Fiber Group for adding one strand & Fiber Optic Cable over I-24. Two rolling stop blocks is expected, four police cars will be present.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday July 29 through Wednesday August 4, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
    • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from Haywood Lane to Rutherford Co. line:
  • Thursday July 29, 8PM-6AM and Friday July 30, 8PM through Saturday July 31, 12 Midnight, There will be alternating two lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to install permanent pavement markings. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday July 29 through Saturday July 31, 9AM-3PM, Traffic on the ramps will be shifted in order to place shoulder stone. All ramps will remain open.

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the ramp to US-27, the ramp to US-27, and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 177 to 179 and MM 181 to 183): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures in both on I-24 work zones from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform bridge rehabilitation work. At least one lane will be maintained at all times. TheSouth Seminole Bridge over I-24 in Chattanooga is now reduced single-lane bridge. This one-lane operation is necessary to make repairs to the concrete deck surface of the bridge. Traffic signals have been installed at each end of the bridge to regulate the flow of traffic through the area. This one-lane traffic operation will remain in place for approximately four months while the repairs to the bridge are being completed. Motorists are advised to anticipate short delays when traveling through this area. Estimated project completion date is November 2011.

    • Tuesday August 3, 9AM through 3PM: There will be two eastbound lanes & one westbound lane closed.

  • The eastbound outside and middle traffic lanes will be closed temporarily to allow for installation of concrete median barrier for the ramp closure.
 
REGION IV Maintenance:
  • Monday August 2 through Friday August 6, 8PM-6AM: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations in order to patch potholes, on an as needed basis.
    •  I-40, Shelby County, westbound MM 1.02 between Danny Thomas and the Arkansas Bridge, one lane to remain open.

HENDERSON COUNTY Design-Build on SR-104 over I-40 MM 101.00Wednesday July 28 & Thursday July 29, 8PM-6AM: There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound & westbound. This lane closure is required to place overhang jacks to the new beams on the bridge over I-40. THP will assist with lane closures on I-40.
 
REGION IV - I-40 Bridge InspectionLOOK AHEAD: Wednesday August 11 & Thursday August 12, 9AM-5PM: there will be one lane closed Eastbound and then one lane closed Westbound the next day, for routine bridge inspection of the Tennessee River Bridge from the bridge to Exit 134/Cuba Landing. THP will assist with traffic control.
 
DICKSON COUNTY, I-40 Emergency Bridge Repair:Thursday July 29 through Tuesday August 3, 9AM-3PM, (each day), There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound from MM 180.0 to MM 181.0 for emergency bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

CHEATHAM COUNTY:Thursday July 29 through Wednesday August 4, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189 and mile marker 192 in order to patch potholes and repair concrete on bridge deck. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project) Friday July 30, 8PM through Monday August 2, 5AM, closure of inside lanes of I-40 eastbound and westbound. The center and inside lanes of eastbound and westbound I-40 will be closed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These closures are to allow for overhead sign footings to be installed and the median wall to be replaced.
 
DAVIDSON and WILSON COUNTIES, Resurfacing on I-40 from OHB (Davidson Co. MM 221) to MM 228:Thursday July 29 through Saturday July 31, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to install permanent pavement markings. Two lanes will remain open.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for a potential rolling road block due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is August 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West at Lawnville Rd. (Exit 355):On Monday, August 2, 2010 through Thursday, August 5, 2010motorists should be alert for possible lane closures on I-40 East and West between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily as crews perform overhead bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for lane closures on the Lawnville Rd. Bridge over I-40 during this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East between I-140 (Exit 376) and Cedar Bluff (Exit 378):On Sunday night, August 1, 2010 motorists should be alert for lane closures through this area between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform roadway repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution traveling through this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East exit ramp to Walker Springs (Exit 379): On Monday night, August 2, 2010 motorists should be alert for lane closures on this ramp between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform roadway repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution traveling in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 Foothills Parkway (Exit 443): The Foothills Parkway East located between I-40 at Exit 443 and US 321 is closed by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service for construction rehabilitation. The roadway is estimated to reopen by August 20, 2010. Motorists wishing to access the Foothills Parkway East should follow signed detour route.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East bridge over the Pigeon River between Mile Markers 445 and 446: Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures across the bridge through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 East between Western Avenue (Exit 1) and I-75/I-275 Interchange (Exit 3): On Tuesday night, August 3, 2010 and Thursday night, August 5, 2010 motorists should be alert for a brief rolling roadblock through this area after 8 p.m. as crews remove and re-install an overhead sign structure. Motorists should be alert for sudden stops, slowed traffic, use extreme caution and expect delays in this area. Motorists wishing to access I-75 North may follow I-40 East to I-275 North (Exit 387A) during this time to avoid delays. 

 
I-55

REGION IV Maintenance:Wednesday July 28 through Wednesday August 4, 9AM-3PM: There will possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to fix washed out areas.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
  • Wednesday July 28 through Wednesday August 4, 9AM-3PM: There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (MM 8 to MM 9) in order to perform bridge construction between Bridges 1 & 2. One northbound lane will remain open.
 

I-155
 
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair:Wednesday July 28 through Wednesday August 4, 7AM-7AM: Beginning at MM 9 in Missouri and extending to MM 1 in Tennessee.  There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.
 
DYER COUNTY Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repairs on I-155 near the rest area LM-9.00 to US-51(SR-3) LM-15.93
  • Wednesday July 28 through Wednesday August 4, Beginning at LM-9.00 and extending to LM-15.93. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for milling, resurfacing and traffic counter installation on I-155.
  • Wednesday July 28 through Wednesday August 4, Beginning at LM-0.00 and extending to LM-1.00. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for milling, resurfacing and traffic counter installation on I-155.

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES:Thursday July 29 and Monday August 2 through Wednesday August 4, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible one lane closures on I-65 in both directions on I-65 from MM 65 (Exit 65: SR-96/Franklin-Murfreesboro) to MM 96 (Exit 96: Two Mile Pkwy./Goodlettsville) for drainage work. One to three lanes will remain open depending on location.

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday July 29 through Wednesday August 4, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
    • I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pkwy (MM 70 to MM 97)

REGION 3 On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:Thursday July 29, 8PM-6AM, The Armory Dr. ramps to I-65 northbound and southbound will be closed to saw and seal joints.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):Thursday July 29 and Friday July 30 and Monday August 2 through Wednesday August 4, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform bridge work and drainage construction.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21
  • NOW through Thursday November 03, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City, will be the first county road CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be the second county road CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South between Exit 128 (Lake City) and Mile Marker 127: Motorists should be alert for workers present, equipment entering and exiting the roadway and use extreme caution through this noise wall construction project. 

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 118 and 123: Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, use extreme caution and expect potential long delays traveling through this area.
