(Recovery Act Project) CARTER COUNTY, SR 400 from East Mill Street to SR 67 (Broad Street): Motorists should be alert for intermittent lane closures on Lynn Ave (SR 400) between Mill Street and Elk Ave and also, intermittent lane closures on Broad Street at the intersection of Lynn Ave. and Broad Street during daylight hours. Motorists should be alert for construction personnel and equipment on or near the roadway in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 Foothills Parkway (Exit 443): The Foothills Parkway East located between I-40 at Exit 443 and US 321 is closed by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service for construction rehabilitation. The roadway is estimated to reopen by August 20, 2010. Motorists wishing to access the Foothills Parkway East should follow signed detour route.
 
COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East bridge over the Pigeon River between Mile Markers 445 and 446: Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures across the bridge through this bridge repair project. KNOX COUNTY, I-640 East between Western Avenue (Exit 1) and I-75/I-275 Interchange (Exit 3): On Tuesday night, August 3, 2010 and Thursday night, August 5, 2010 motorists should be alert for a brief rolling roadblock through this area after 8 p.m. as crews remove and re-install an overhead sign structure. Motorists should be alert for sudden stops, slowed traffic, use extreme caution and expect delays in this area. Motorists wishing to access I-75 North may follow I-40 East to I-275 North (Exit 387A) during this time to avoid delays. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395): Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, James White Parkway to I-40: On Tuesday night, August 3, 2010 and Wednesday night, August 4, 2010 motorists should be alert for lane closures through this area between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform roadway repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution traveling through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 1 Kingston Pike over Norfolk Southern Railroad at Forrest Park Blvd:  Kingston Pike is reduced to one lane in each direction around the clock for bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for traffic shifts and new conditions through this project. South Forrest Park Blvd. is closed at Kingston Pike. Motorists wishing to access South Forrest Park Blvd. should follow signed detour route. Motorists should use extreme caution when traveling through this area. 
 
(Recovery Act Project) KNOX COUNTY, Campbell Station Road between I-40 and Kingston Pike (SR 1): Motorists should be alert for construction activities and workers present through this widening project. Motorists should be alert for flag persons directing traffic at various times and use caution through this area. Beginning Thursday, July 15, 2010 Old Colony Parkway will be closed at the intersection with Campbell Station Road for approximately three weeks as crews expedite construction in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, SR 131 Lovell Road between Gilbert Drive and Pellissippi Parkway: Motorists should be alert for workers present and flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West at Lawnville Rd. (Exit 355): On Monday, August 2, 2010 through Thursday, August 5, 2010 motorists should be alert for possible lane closures on I-40 East and West between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily as crews perform overhead bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for lane closures on the Lawnville Rd. Bridge over I-40 during this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
 
ROANE COUNTY, US-70 / SR 1 Bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad and Black Creek (LM 2.46): US-70 Bridge over Norfolk Southern railroad at log mile 2.46 is reduced to one narrowed lane controlled by temporary traffic signals as crews perform bridge rehabilitation work. WIDE LOADS OVER 10 FEET WIDE ARE NOT PERMITTED THROUGH THIS PROJECT. Traffic loads over 10 feet in width should follow signed detour route. Motorists should be alert for temporary stoppage of traffic in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform bridge beam demolition. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use extreme caution through this area.
 
ROANE / ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 95 between Westover Drive and SR 62 Illinois Avenue:State Route 95 is reduced to one lane in each direction through this widening project. Motorists should be alert for short lane closures with flagging operations as crews enter and exit into the traffic lanes while performing paving operations. Motorists should be alert for workers present, lane shifts, changed conditions and potential delays and use caution through this area.
 
ROANE COUNTY, SR 95 between Westover Drive and SR 58:Motorists should be alert for construction personnel and utility crews working closely to the traveled lanes.  Motorists should be alert for flag persons, lane shifts, changed conditions and use caution through this area.
 
SEVIER COUNTY, SR 35 (Chapman Hwy.) Bridges over Gist Creek between White’s School Rd. and Tarwater Rd.: Motorists traveling through this area should be alert for lane closures and traffic shifts through this bridge construction project. Motorists should use extreme caution, reduce speed and be alert for new and changing conditions through this area.
 
SEVIER COUNTY, SR 338  (Boyd's Creek Hwy) in Seymour at Old Sevierville Pike: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, and workers present throughout this intersection improvement project. Motorists traveling southbound approaching the bridge should be alert for a lane shift to the left. Motorists traveling northbound across the bridge should be alert for the removal of the existing passing lane on the north side of the bridge.
