REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday August 12 through Wednesday August 18, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates routes in Davidson, Dickson, Humphreys, Smith, Williamson, Maury, Marshall, Giles, and Robertson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday August 12 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday August 12 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
  • Thursday August 12 through Wednesday August 18, 7PM-5AM, (including weekends), There will be rolling roadblocks in the left lane in Davidson County for cleaning grates and removing vegetation.
  • Thursday August 12 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday August 12 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
§ I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Median Drainage Improvement on I-24 near MM 53.0:Friday August 13, 9PM through Monday August 16, 5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound near MM 53.0 in order to set barrier rail and install drainage.

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday August 12 and Monday August 16 through Wednesday August 18, 8PM-5AM, One lane will be closed in both directions on I-24 from I-40 to Mile Marker 63.2 for mobile drain cleaning. One lane will remain open.

REGION 3 Retracing of Pavement Markings
  • Friday August 13 through Monday August 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be various lane closures on I-24 in Rutherford County from MM 70 through MM 97 in order to restripe the roadway.
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on US-72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor has installed construction signs and will be clearing and relocating utilities.  Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River: Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans and westward):
  • Wednesday August 11, through Wednesday August 18: There will be one Eastbound lane closed.
  • The Eastbound “Off” ramp (Ramp N-O) located just east of the arch spans will be closed at all times until about August 22, 2010.
  • Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department may be conducting the annual inspection of the bridge and will coordinate various intermittent outside lane closures during the next several weeks.
 
REGION IV Maintenance: Wednesday August 11 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM: There will possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to fix washed out areas.

REGION IV Bridge Inspection:Wednesday August 11 & Thursday August 12, 9AM-5PM: There will be one lane closed on Interstate 40 Eastbound and one lane closed on the Westbound the next day, for routine bridge inspection of the Tennessee River Bridge from the bridge to Exit 134/Cuba Landing. THP will assist with traffic control.

REGION IV On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday August 11through Wednesday August 18, 8PM-6AM: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.
  • I-40, Madison County, westbound (MM 77.3 to MM 81.0), one lane to remain open.
 
HENDERSON COUNTY Design-Build on SR-104 over I-40 MM 101.00: Saturday August 14 & Sunday August 15, 5AM-8PM: There will be one lane closed on I-40 Eastbound & Westbound to assist in diverting traffic onto the ramps over State Route 104 & back on to I-40. This lane closure is required to pour the new bridge deck over I-40 at Mile Marker 101. State Route 104 & the bridge located at Mile Marker 101 will be closed to local traffic entering I-40. Traffic will be flagged on S.R. 104. Tennessee Highway Patrol will assist with lane closures on I-40.
 
HENDERSON COUNTY-Resurfacing on I-40:Sunday August 15 through Friday August 20, 7PM-6AM: There will be one lane closed on I-40 Eastbound and Westbound for cold planning operations (milling).

DICKSON COUNTY, I-40 Emergency Slide Repair:Thursday August 12 through Tuesday August 17, 9AM-3PM, (each day), There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound at MM 180.5 for emergency slide repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

  • Thursday August 12 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
§ I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width.  The possibility exists daily for potential traffic pacing due to rock blasting activities.  Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is August 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West at Lawnville Rd. (Exit 355):Motorists should be alert for lane closures on the Lawnville Rd. Bridge over I-40 during this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 Foothills Parkway (Exit 443): The Foothills Parkway East located between I-40 at Exit 443 and US 321 is closed by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service for construction rehabilitation. The roadway is estimated to reopen by August 20, 2010. Motorists wishing to access the Foothills Parkway East should follow signed detour route.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East bridge over the Pigeon River between Mile Markers 445 and 446: Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures across the bridge through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

REGION IV Maintenance: Wednesday August 11 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM: There will possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to fix washed out areas.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
  • Wednesday August 11 through Wednesday August 18, 9AM-3PM: There will be intermittent lane closures Northbound (Mile Marker 8 to Mile Marker 9) in order to perform bridge construction Bridges 1 (Mallory Avenue Overpass). One Northbound lane will remain open.
 

I-155
 
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair: Wednesday August 11 through Wednesday August 18: Beginning at Mile Marker 9 in Missouri and extending to Mile Marker 1 in Tennessee.  There will be one Eastbound & one Westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.
 
 
I-65

  • Thursday August 12 and Friday August 13, 9PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 northbound and southbound for bridge deck construction.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City, will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

 
I-75

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South between Exit 128 (Lake City) and Mile Marker 127: Motorists should be alert for workers present, equipment entering and exiting the roadway and use extreme caution through this noise wall construction project.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 28 and 37:Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project.
