I-40 Will Be Reduced to One Lane for Flood Repair in Madison County August 19

JACKSON, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation crews are continuing efforts to repair roadway damage caused by the May 2010 flooding.  On Thursday, August 19 beginning at 6:30 a.m. workers will reduce Interstate 40 Westbound to one lane at mile marker 111 until 4:30 p.m. while they work to repair erosion of a slope near the roadway.
 
Delta Contracting Company, LLC is the prime contractor on the emergency flood repair contract. All work is weather dependent. Tennessee Highway Patrol will assist in traffic control.
