REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Smith, Williamson, Maury, Marshall, Giles, Montgomery and Robertson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

TDOT Utilities:Sunday August 22, 5:30AM-3PM, On I-24 near the Florence Road Overpass in Rutherford County. This request, by Middle Tennessee Electric Corp. is for transferring existing lines to new poles, Police cars will be present if needed.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on Interstates in Middle Tennessee in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
  • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Median Drainage Improvement on I-24 near MM 53.0:
  • Thursday 19, 9PM-5AM, The left lane of I-24 eastbound will be closed in order to set barrier rail and install drainage.
  • Friday August 20, 9PM through Monday August 23, 5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound near MM 53.0 in order to set barrier rail and install base stone and paving operations.

COFFEE COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing project from US-41 (MM 105) to SR-55 (MM 111):The contractor will have nighttime lane closures on I-24 from 7:00 PM-- 6:00 AM to perform paving operations. Estimated project completion date is October 2010. 
 
COFFEE COUNTY, SR-127 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge over I-24 between MM 117 and MM 121: (Recovery Act Project)The contractor will have lane closures on I-24 from 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM to paint the overhead bridge. Estimated project completion date is August 2010. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on US-72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor has installed construction signs and will be clearing, relocating utilities and installing barrier rail. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the US-27 ramp to I-24 East (MM 177-179) and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 181-183): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures in both I-24 work zones from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform bridge rehabilitation work. At least one lane will be maintained at all times. At the I-24 Eastbound bridge site, a traffic shift will be implemented during this time period, tentatively scheduled to begin on Sunday night, June 22 at 6:00 PM and ending on Monday morning, June 23 at or before 6:00 AM. Once shift is in place, I-24 East traffic will utilize the marked two-lane off-ramp as an I-24 East detour so the contactor can begin work on the bridge deck of I-24 East over US-27 North in downtown Chattanooga. This traffic shift will be in place until the project is completed. I-24 westbound traffic will not be affected. TheSouth Seminole Bridge over I-24 in Chattanooga is now reduced single-lane bridge. This one-lane operation is necessary to make repairs to the concrete deck surface of the bridge. Traffic signals have been installed at each end of the bridge to regulate the flow of traffic through the area. This one-lane traffic operation will remain in place for approximately four months while the repairs to the bridge are being completed. Motorists are advised to anticipate short delays when traveling through this area. Estimated project completion date is November 2010.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River:
Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans and westward):
  • Wednesday August 18, through Saturday August 21 7:00 a.m.: There will be one Eastbound lane closed.
  • Saturday August 21, 7:00 a.m.-3:00p.m.: There will be two Eastbound lanes closed.
Various closures for existing four lane section (East of the arch spans):
  • Saturday August 21, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be one Eastbound lane closed.
  • The Eastbound “Off” ramp (Ramp N-O) located just east of the arch spans will be closed at all times until about
August 21, 2010.
Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department may be conducting the annual inspection of the bridge and will coordinate various intermittent outside lane closures during the next several weeks.
 
REGION IV On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday August 18 through Wednesday August 25, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 1.0 to MM 1.8), two lanes to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 6, one ramp lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound (MM 16.5 to MM 15.8), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 23.0 to MM 23.5), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Madison County, westbound (Mile Marker 77.3 to Mile Marker 81.0), one lane to remain open.

HENDERSON COUNTY - Resurfacing on I-40:Sunday August 22 through Friday August 27, 7:00 p.m.-6:00a.m.: There will be one lane closed on I-40 Eastbound and Westbound for cold planning operations (milling).
 
HENDERSON COUNTY - Flood Repair on I-40 at Mile Marker 111.5:Thursday August 19, 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., There will be one lane closed on I-40 Westbound for slope erosion repair. THP will assist with traffic control.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 in Cheatham County from the Williamson/Cheatham County line (184.3 Mile Marker) to the Davidson/Cheatham County line (191.5 Mile Marker), for the purpose of chemical control of vegetation. One lane will remain open.

DICKSON COUNTY, I-40 Emergency Slide Repair:Thursday August 19 through Tuesday August 24, 9AM-3PM, (each day), There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound at MM 180.5 for emergency slide repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
  • I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for potential traffic pacing due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated project completion date is August 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Markers 343 and 360:On Tuesday night, August 24, 2010, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present, potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West at Lawnville Rd. (Exit 355):Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday night, August 23, 2010 through Thursday night, August 26, 2010 through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, I-40 East between Mile Markers 363 and 367:On Wednesday night, August 25, 2010, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present, potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):Motorists should be alert for possible nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East bridge over the Pigeon River between Mile Markers 445 and 446: Motorists should be alert for lane closures through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound Exit 12 A, I-55 Northbound on-ramp from Metal Museum Drive, one lane to remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
  • Wednesday August 18 through Wednesday August 25, 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures Northbound (Mile Marker 8 to Mile Marker 9) in order to perform bridge construction Bridges 1 (Mallory Avenue Overpass). One Northbound lane will remain open.

REGION IV Maintenance:Wednesday August 18 through Wednesday August 25, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to fix washed out areas.

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair:Wednesday August 18 through Wednesday August 25: Beginning at Mile Marker 9 in Missouri and extending to Mile Marker 1 in Tennessee.  There will be one Eastbound & one Westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.
 
 
I-65

REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Smith, Williamson, Maury, Marshall, Giles, Montgomery and Robertson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

GILES COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday August 19, 8AM-4PM, The right lane will be closed on I-65 northbound between mile marker 21 and 22 for patching the roadway. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be rolling roadblocks in the left lane in Williamson County on I-65 southbound from the 74 mile marker to the 65 mile marker for cleaning grates and removing vegetation.

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:Thursday August 19 through Wednesday August 25, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):Saturday August 21, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform bridge work and drainage construction.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

 
I-75

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 130 and 137: On Sunday night, August 22, 2010, and Monday night, August 23, 2010, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present, potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 28 and 37:Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.
