Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary Subject for August Nature @ Noontime

NASHVILLE --- Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary-A Forever GreenSpace, will be the subject of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s Nature @ Noontime August presentation from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, August 5. The monthly program resumes after a July break and is held at the TWRA Region II conference room and is located in the Ellington Agricultural Center.
 
Margaret Cameron, Owl’s Hill Executive Director, will be the program presenter. Owl’s Hill is located in northwest Williamson County, consisting of 160 acres of protected green space, dedicated to a mission of education, conservation, restoration, research, and species protection. The private, non-profit nature preserve is part of more than 800 acres of contiguous wildlife habitat, hills, forest and farmland in Beech Creek Valley that are protected through permanent conservation easements.
 
Hosted by TWRA’s I&E Division and held on the first Thursday of each month, except July, Nature @ Noontime presentations are about natural resource related topics and last about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch hour.
