MEMPHIS, Tenn. – As work progresses on State Route 385 in Shelby County, workers will close Raleigh-Lagrange Road between State Route 205 (Collierville-Arlington Road) and Fisherville Road beginning Tuesday, August 24 at 5:00 a.m.until Thursday, August 26 at 9:00 p.m. for construction of the new Raleigh-Lagrange/State Route 385 overpass.

The closure will allow the contractor to complete temporary access roads through the construction area required for the safe construction of the new overpass. Detour signs will be posted to guide drivers around the construction area during the three day closure. Motorists will be detoured to the north using Collierville-Arlington Road, Monterey Road, and Fisherville Road. Local residents will continue to have access to property in the area.

Hill Brothers Construction Company is the prime contractor on the $53.4 million project. The total project is estimated to be completed by September 2012.
