The Hunters for the Hungry program’s mission is to motivate the generosity of Tennessee’s sportsmen and women by gathering harvested venison and giving it to hunger relief programs that benefit men, women and children across Tennessee.
In Marshall County alone, hunters’ donations generated more than 3,000 pounds of meat to feed families in 2009. All entry fees will be directed to the processing fees of the harvested deer that are donated and processed for the hungry in Marshall County.
