I-40/Hernando DeSoto Seismic Retrofit Project Update for September 13

[img:1 align=float_left]MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Crews safely and successfully removed two of the three existing bridge joints and concrete bridge decks over the weekend. They have now begun removing the third bridge joint and concrete bridge deck.

The contractor will begin this week the installation of the new seismic expansion joint on the first pier.
