MONTGOMERY COUNTY:Thursday, January 27 through Wednesday, February 2, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit. (Weather permitting)
 
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday, January 27 through Wednesday, February 2, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and exit 19 (Adams). (Weather permitting)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday, January 27 through Wednesday, February 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday, January 27 through Wednesday, February 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. (Weather permitting)
  • Thursday, January 27 through Wednesday, February 2, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes. (Weather permitting)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Thursday January 27 through Thursday February 3, 8PM-5AM, The outside lane and shoulder will be closed on I-24 WB in order to test equipment used to perform needed repairs and to install the containment system used in sandblast and paint operations. 

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday January 27 through Wednesday February 2, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
    • I-24, both directions, between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is January 2011.

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is January 2011. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and performing grading work. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-26 West between Mile Markers 7 and 8: On Sunday night, January 30, 2011 and Tuesday night, February 1, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 31 and 32: On Friday, January 28, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should use caution through this resurfacing project.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River - Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans and westward): Wednesday January 26 through February 2: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.
 
TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday January 26 through Wednesday February 2, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:Wednesday January 26 through Wednesday February 2, 8:00 p.m,.-6:00 a.m.: Repairs will be made onI-40 in Shelby County, east and west bound between Exit 2/Chelsea Avenue and Exit 5/Hollywood Drive. One lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY-TDOT Bridge Inspection and Repair:Thursday January 27, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 at the Davies Plantation Road bridge, east and west bound to measure beams. One lane will remain open.

  • Monday January 31 through Wednesday February 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on I-40 and Whitebridge Rd for pothole repairs. This will be performed when weather permits and asphalt plant operational.
  • Saturday January 29, 7AM-5PM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 east and west bound for bridge demolition. Two lanes will remain open.

REGION 3, On-Call Concrete Repair:Thursday January 27 through Wednesday February 2, 8AM-4PM, The ramp at exit 258 (Carthage/Gordonsville) on I-40 eastbound will be shifted to one side in order to replace deteriorated concrete. The ramp will remain open.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Markers 356 and 358: On Thursday night, January 27, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 at Mile Marker 395 (Holston River Bridge):On Monday, January 31, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure on I-40 West across the Holston River Bridge for bridge inspection. On Tuesday, February 1, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure across the bridge on I-40 East. These lane closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Motorists should use extreme caution traveling through this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 421.5 and 424: On Friday, January 28, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure during daylight hours as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 431 and 432:On Friday, January 28, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure during daylight hours as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday January 26 through Wednesday February 2, There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.

TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday January 26 through Wednesday February 2, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River:Wednesday January 26 through Wednesday February 2: Beginning at mile marker 9 in Missouri and extending to mile marker 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

  • Thursday January 27 through Wednesday February 2, 9PM-5AM and Saturday January 29, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to install the signal crossing and traffic adjustment.
  • Thursday January 27 through Wednesday February 2, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 north and south bound in order to remove the bridge overhang.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

LOUDON and MONROE COUNTY, I-75 between Mile Markers 84 and 60: On Thursday, February 3, 2011 and Wednesday, February 2, 2011, motorists should be alert for mobile sweeping operations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through this area. Motorists should be alert for slow moving equipment and use extreme caution.
 
ANDERSON COUNTY and CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 between Mile Markers 120 and 160:On Tuesday, February 1, 2011 and Wednesday, February 2, 2011, motorists should be alert for mobile sweeping operations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through this area. Motorists should be alert for slow moving equipment and use extreme caution.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 72 and 73:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures in this area on Mondays through Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform overhead bridge work. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Massengill Rd. Bridge over I-81: Motorists should be alert for lane closures controlled by a temporary traffic signal, around the clock through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, use extreme caution through this area.
