Oct. 7 Is Deadline to Submit Comments for Sport Fishing, Guide License Proposals

NASHVILLE --- The Friday, Oct. 7 deadline is approaching to submit comments to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency for its 2012 sport fishing regulation changes and guide license proposals. This is an opportunity for the public to share ideas and concerns about fishing regulations with the TWRA staff.

 

Public comments will be considered by fisheries managers and may be presented as proposals for regulation changes. Comments may be submitted by mail to: Sport Fish Comments, TWRA, Fisheries Management Division, P.O. 40747, Nashville, TN 37204 or emailed by clicking here. Please include “Sport Fish Comments” or “Fishing Guide License Comments” on the subject line of emailed submissions.

 

The 2012 sport fishing regulations will be established during the Oct. 13-14 meeting of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission. The meeting will be held at the TWRA Region II Ray Bell Building in Nashville.
