NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security today announced the Driver Service Center located at 530 Cherokee Boulevard in Chattanooga will cease operating at the close of business on Friday, October 7. A new, full-service Driver Service Center will open nearby at 4873 Dayton Boulevard in Chattanooga on Wednesday, October 12.

The new Dayton Blvd. Driver Service Center will open at 9:30 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, and then will continue to operate during its normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the second Wednesday of each month, the facility will open one hour later due to a monthly staff meeting.
