International Conference Held In Nashville
NASHVILLE - Correctional Professionals from around the world will gather in Nashville next week for the International Association of Correctional Training Personnel Conference (IACTP). The event will bring more than 60 trainers, training administrators and educators representing all aspects of adult and juvenile justice to Tennessee.
Participants will travel from across America and countries like Singapore and Zambia. The Tennessee Department of Correction, the Board of Probation and Parole and Corrections Corporation of America will serve as co-hosts of this year's event.
"The IACTP is excited to bring this important conference to Nashville," said President-elect Randy Perdue. "Correctional Professionals work to keep communities around the world safe and secure and are dedicated to the crucial roles they have in public safety."
