Tennessee Driver Service Centers Closed for Christmas, New Year's Day Holidays

NASHVILLE --- The Department of Safety and Homeland Security reminds citizens that state driver service centers will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays and urges citizens to plan accordingly.
 
In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, the State of Tennessee is closing state offices on:

 
·         Friday, December 23
·         Monday, December 26
·         Friday, December 30
·         Monday, January 2
 
Driver service centers will be open normal hours from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on December 27-29.
 
The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s (www.TN.Gov/safety) mission is to ensure the safety and general welfare of the public. The department encompasses the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Office of Homeland Security and Driver License Services. General areas of responsibility include law enforcement, safety education, motorist services and terrorism prevention.
