TRANSCRIPT: I'm Natasha Bahr with Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.
Severe winter storms in Tennessee can mean snow or subfreezing temperatures, as well as heavy rains, ice, strong winds, or even tornadoes.
So, put together a storm kit complete with items like non-perishable food and water, a battery powered radio and blankets. You should have one for your home and another in your car.
Preparedness is an individual responsibility.
I'm an Emergency Manager and I'm asking you to be prepared for severe winter weather.
