TDOT Hosts Informational Meeting Regarding Wolf Creek Bridge Project

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation staff will share details with the Hot Springs, North Carolina community about an upcoming project to rehabilitate Wolf Creek Bridge.   The concrete arch bridge located on US 25/70 State Route 9 in Cocke County is structurally deficient and will be carefully dismantled and reconstructed over the course of 30 to 36 months.
 
TDOT hosted a similar meeting in Newport, Tennessee on October 18, 2010 at the Newport City Hall. Newport and Hot Springs residents use the Wolf Creek Bridge as one route when traveling from Tennessee to North Carolina and vice versa. 
 
TDOT will meet with North Carolina residents on March 3, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
