MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday, February 3 through Wednesday, February 9, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit. (Weather permitting)

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday, February 3 through Wednesday, February 9, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and exit 19 (Adams). (Weather permitting)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday, February 3 through Wednesday, February 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday, February 3 through Wednesday, February 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. (Weather permitting)
  • Thursday, February 3 through Wednesday, February 9, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes. (Weather permitting)
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Sunday February 6 through Thursday February 10, 8PM-6AM, The outside lane and shoulder will be closed on I-24 WB in order to test equipment used to perform needed repairs and to install the containment system used in sandblast and paint operations. 

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:Thursday February 3 through Wednesday February 9, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
·         I-24, both directions, between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is January 2011. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and performing grading and bridge work.  There will be nighttime closures on I-24 between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. during this report period. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012.

  • Thursday February 3, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures westbound Sam Cooper Blvd. in order to measure the beams to establish demo limits. One lane will remain open.
  • Friday February 4 through Monday February 7, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures eastbound toremove the existing wearing surface from the I-40 Bridge over Sam Cooper BlvdThere will be 2 lanes closed at a time in order to mill the entire bridge. One lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:Monday February 7 through Wednesday February 9, 8:00 p.m,.-6:00 a.m.: Repairs will be made onI-40 in Shelby County, east and west bound between Exit 2/Chelsea Avenue and Exit 5/Hollywood Drive. One lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday February 2 through Tuesday February 8, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail.
·         I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 5.6 to MM 6.1), two lanes to remain open.

HICKMAN COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday, February 3, 9AM-3PM, I-40 eastbound between mile marker 151 and mile marker 163, will be reduced to one lane to perform core drilling. One lane will remain open.

DICKSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday, February 9 and Thursday, February 10, 9AM-2PM, I-40 in both directions between mile marker 177 and mile marker 178, will be reduced to one lane. The right lane will be closed to perform core drilling. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

  • Saturday February 5 and Sunday February 6, 7AM-7PM, There will be rollingroadblocks on I-40 east and west bound for installation of beams for the White Bridge Road overpass. Roadblocks will not exceed 30 minutes in duration.
  • Monday February 7 through Wednesday February 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for bridge demolition and deck installation.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday February 3 through Wednesday February 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East at Mile Marker 350.3: On Monday night, February 7, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

ROANE and LOUDON COUNTIES, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 353 and 364.5: On Sunday night, February 6, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West Ramp to Papermill Drive (Exit 383):On Monday night, February 7, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure on the exit ramp between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday February 2 through Wednesday February 9, there will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday February 2 through Tuesday February 8, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail.
·         I-55, Shelby County, southbound (MM 11.7 to MM 11.2), two lanes to remain open.

TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday February 2 through Wednesday February 9, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River:Wednesday February 2 through Wednesday February 9: Beginning at mile marker 9 in Missouri and extending to mile marker 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

DYER COUNTY:   Friday February 4 through Sunday February: The entrance and exit ramps at the following locations will be closed during work. Ramp closures will be staggered to allow access to and from some of the interchanges at all times.

REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:
  • Thursday February 3 through Tuesday February 8, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Wilson, Smith, Cheatham, Robertson, Montgomery, Dickson, Williamson, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail repair. One lane closures for median barrier wall repair on I-65 at MM 81.4.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.)
  • Thursday February 3 through Wednesday February 9, 9PM-5AM and Saturday February 6, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to install the signal crossing and traffic adjustment.
  • Thursday February 3 through Wednesday February 9, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 north and south bound in order to remove the bridge overhang.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

LOUDON and MONROE COUNTY, I-75 between Mile Markers 84 and 60: On Thursday, February 3, 2011 and Tuesday, February 8, 2011, motorists should be alert for mobile sweeping operations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through this area. Motorists should be alert for slow moving equipment and use extreme caution.
 
ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North between Mile Markers 119 and 120: On Tuesday night, February 8, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
 
ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North at Mile Marker 120.6 and I-75 South at Mile Marker 129: On Sunday night, February 6, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 72 and 73:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures in this area on Mondays through Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform overhead bridge work. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Massengill Rd. Bridge over I-81: Motorists should be alert for lane closures controlled by a temporary traffic signal, around the clock through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, use extreme caution through this area.
