Market Street Bridge in Chattanooga to Undergo Quarterly Inspection

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. –TDOT bridge inspectors will perform their regular quarterly inspection on the Market Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga on Sunday, February 6, 2011. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. EST the bridge will be closed to traffic as crews conduct the inspection and open the drawbridge portion of the bridge. The bridge will be reopened to traffic by no later than noon.

Should inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances delay the inspection, it will be rescheduled to take place on Sunday, February 13, 2011.
