Public Information Meeting on Poplar Avenue Widening Project

MEMPHIS – Tennessee Department of Transportation officials and Madden Phillips Construction representatives will hold an informational meeting tomorrow to provide the public with a brief overview of the State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) widening project. The project consists of widening a 1.2 mile section of Poplar Avenue from Miller Farms to Dogwood Lane, making it 3 lanes in each direction. The $4.5 million project is estimated to be complete June 30, 2012.
