REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday March 17 through Tuesday March 22, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Wilson, Sumner, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

REGION 3, On-Call Pavement Marking:Monday March 21 through Wednesday March 23, 7AM-7PM, There will be rolling lane closures on various State Routes in Cheatham, Hickman, and Dickson Counties in order to retrace pavement markings.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday March 10 through Wednesday March 16, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Bridge Repair:Thursday March 17, 8PM-5AM, I-24 westbound at mile marker 58.6 (over Mill Creek), two right lanes closed to repair potholes in bridge deck. Two lanes will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:
  • Thursday March 17 and Friday March 18 and Monday March 21 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, The shoulder of westbound Hermitage Ave. will be closed for concrete repairs on bridge column and cap.
  • Friday March 18, 8PM through Saturday March 19, 7PM and Sunday March 20, 6AM through Monday March 21, 6AM, The right lane of I-24 eastbound and the shoulder will be closed for concrete repair.
  • Monday March 21 through Thursday March 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane and a shoulder closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install the containment system used in sandblast and paint operations. 

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
  • I-24, both directions, between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)
  • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 40)

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement short duration shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend to perform aerial camera maintenance. There also will be short term lane closures between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform aerial camera maintenance. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is March 2011.

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor will begin installing signs on I‑24 East and West beginning on Monday March 14.  Some work may be done during the day. However, lane closures are restricted to nighttime between the hours of 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday.

MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be extending the barrier rail entrance and exits to accommodate trucks entering and exiting the median in the construction of the detour for Phase One. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012.

UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 West near Mile Marker 28.9:On Monday, March 21, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure in this area as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution through this area.

UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures during daylight hours and use caution through this resurfacing project.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday March 16 through March 23, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday March 16 through Wednesday March 23, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guard rail:
·         I-40, Madison County eastbound and westbound (MM 69.0 to MM 78.0), one lane to remain open.
·         I-40, Madison County eastbound and westbound (MM 80.0 to MM 84.0), one lane to remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 over Sam Cooper : The next 5 weekends, some weekdays, closures are planned to complete these repairs.
  • Friday March 18, 8:00 p.m. through Wednesday March 23, 6:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures eastbound to repair the I-40 bridge deck over Sam Cooper Blvd. There will be 2 lanes closed and two lanes open on I-40. Sam Cooper will have one lane open and one lane closed under the bridge.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge Repair on Davies Plantation Road over I-40 LM-1.38:Friday, March 18, 8:00 p.m. through Monday March 21, 5:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound at the Davies Plantation overpass, one lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
  • Saturday March 19, 6AM -8AM, Closure of two lanes each direction of I-40 for removal of overhang jacks. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Saturday March 19, 8AM -5PM, Closure of inside lane in each direction for demo of median barrier at bridge pier.

SMITH COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday March 17, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 westbound in Smith County at the 255.4 mile marker (this is before the Alexandria exit 254) in order to repair the bridge deck. One lane will remain open.   

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East at Mile Marker 398: On Wednesday night, March 23, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution traveling through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning SR-385 to north of Walnut Grove Road:Sunday, March 20 through Thursday, March 24 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lane closures I-240 eastbound from mile marker 16.0 to mile marker 13.0 to install concrete barrier rail. Two eastbound lanes will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday March 16 through Wednesday March 23, there will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday March 16 through March 23, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DYER COUNTY, I-155: Resurfacing and bridge repair should alert motorist for lanes closures. Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 24, 7:00 a.m. -6:30 p.m.: There will be one northbound and one southbound lane closed.

GILES COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from US 64 to the Marshall County line Including Bridge Repair:Friday March 18, 7PM through Monday March 21, 6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 in both directions in Giles County between mile marker 16.7 and mile marker 21.6 in order to perform bridge repair. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Tuesday March 22 through Wednesday March 23, 7PM-3AM, The right lane will be closed on I-65 northbound at mile marker 61 (Peytonsville Road) for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 to about one mile south of the bridge over the Harpeth River in order to perform some maintenance work and install barrier rail. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):Thursday March 17 through Friday March 18, 9PM-12 Midnight, Traffic on the I-65 southbound off ramp to Old Hickory Blvd. will be flagged in order to install a temporary traffic signal.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9PM-5AM and Saturday March 19, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to install the signal crossing and traffic adjustment.
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9PM-5AM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to perform bridge work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.

OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.: The contractor is clearing and performing grading operations to begin work on the bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North at Mile Marker 135.7:On Thursday night, March 17, 2011 and Tuesday night, March 22, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 36 and 44:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Massengill Rd. Bridge over I-81: Motorists should be alert for lane closures controlled by a temporary traffic signal, around the clock through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, use extreme caution through this area.

 
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
