REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday April 28 through Tuesday May 3, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Robertson, Cheatham, Sumner, Maury, Giles, Montgomery, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from KY State Line to SR 76:Monday May 2 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-3:30PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be traffic shifts on the ramps at exits 1, 4, 8, and 11 in order to repair concrete. Ramps will remain open.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit.
 
ROBERTSON, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 18 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes. 
 
DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install fiber, cleanup, and install conduit.   
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and one mile north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39)
    • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)
  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 8PM-5AM, I-24 Eastbound at MM 39.6, north of Old Hickory Blvd, one right lane closed for foundation installation, one lane to remain open (extra days in case of weather).
  • Monday May 2 through Wednesday May 4, 8PM-5AM, I-24 Westbound at MM 63, between Waldron Rd and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 64 to MM 62), alternating one left/one right lane closures to stand DMS sign uprights, 3 lanes to remain open at all times.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Maintenance of the ITS System
  • Thursday April 28, 9PM-9:30PM, Close the right lane of I-24WB at MM58.6 for the purpose of ITS System Maintenance. Three lanes of four lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday April 28, 11:30PM-12AM, Close the right lane of I-24WB at MM49.4 for the purpose of ITS System Maintenance. Three lanes of four lanes will remain open.
  • Friday April 29, 12:15AM-12:45AM, Close the right lane of I-24EB at the Briley Parkway EB ramp at MM 43.5 for the purpose of ITS System Maintenance. One of two lanes will remain open. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad
  • Thursday April 28 and Friday April 29 and Monday May 2 through Wednesday May 4, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane and a shoulder closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install the containment system used in sandblast and paint operations.  

REGION 3, On-Call Striping:Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-11AM, There will be rolling lane closures at the following locations in order to test striping:
  • I-24 MM 70.5-MM 97 Rutherford County

MARION COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing from Cave Cove Creek (MM 140.6) to Big Fiery Gizzard Creek (MM 145.75): The contractor will have one lane closed in each direction at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform milling and paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is June 2012. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor continues work on the bridge. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor has begun a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM when traffic could be restricted to a single lane.
  • CURRENT ACTIVITIES: Monday, May 2 through Wednesday, May 4 eastbound and westbound from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for bridge deck repairs. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-26 Westbound Exit Ramp over Boones Creek (Exit 17):Motorists should be alert for a closed shoulder, workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area. Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 through 6 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2011, the westbound exit ramp will close as crews perform roadway structure repairs. During this time, motorists on I-26 West wishing to access Boones Creek Road (Exit 17) should use State of Franklin Road (Exit 19) to SR 36 back to Boones Creek Road.

UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures during daylight hours and use caution through this resurfacing project.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday April 27 through Wednesday May 4, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday April 27 through Wednesday May 4 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guard rail:
·         I-40, Shelby County eastbound & westbound (MM 2.5 to MM 9.5), two lanes to remain open.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, Bridge Repair at Davies Plantation over I-40:Friday, April 29, 8:00 p.m. through Monday May 2, 5:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures eastbound (MM 19.0 to MM 20.0) at the Davies Plantation overpass, one lane will remain open in each direction.

  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating laneclosures on I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 153-182 in order to mill, pave and perform guardrail work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Williamson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Maintenance of the ITS System:Thursday April 28, 10PM-11PM, Close the right lane of I-40WB at MM 211.8 for the purpose of ITS System Maintenance. Three lanes of four lanes will remain open. 

REGION 3, On-Call Striping:Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-11AM, There will be rolling lane closures at the following locations in order to test striping:
  • I-40 MM 222.5-MM 250.0 Wilson County

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning SR385 to north of Walnut Grove Road:Monday, May 2 through Thursday, May 5, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lane closures on I-240 eastbound from mile marker 16.0 to mile marker 13.0 to begin milling. Two eastbound lanes will remain open.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West between Washington Pike (Exit 8) and I-275 Interchange (Exit 3): On Thursday night, April 28, 2011, motorists should be alert for a series of rolling roadblocks to occur between the hours of 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. the following morning as crews perform attenuator repairs at Exit 3. During the rolling roadblocks, the entrance ramp to I-640 West from Broadway (SR 33) will be closed during this time. Motorists should be alert for sudden stops, slowed or stopped traffic, expect delays and use extreme caution in this area. Motorists may use I-40 during these times to avoid delays associated with these rolling roadblocks.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday April 27 through Wednesday May 4, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday April 27 through Wednesday May 4 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guard rail:
·         I-55, Shelby County northbound (MM 0.0 to MM 4.0), two lanes to remain open.
·         I-55, Shelby County northbound (MM 4.7 to MM 5.6), two lanes to remain open.
·         I-55, Shelby County southbound ramp from I-55 SB to I-240 NB (Exit 6B), CLOSED.
·         I-55, Shelby County southbound (MM 6.5 to MM 4.5), two lanes to remain open.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday April 27 through Wednesday May 4, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  there will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.
  • Wednesday May 4, 9:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.:  Contractor will be switching traffic (southbound traffic onto northbound, Phase I). Weather permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, Safety Improvement on I-55 with Crump Boulevard Ramps:Wednesday, April 27 through Wednesday May 4: There will be lanes closures westbound Crump Boulevard and Riverside Drive to install barrier rail. One lane will remain open.

DYER COUNTY, I-155:Wednesday April 27 through Wednesday May 4, 7:00 a.m. -7:00 a.m.: There will be one northbound and one southbound lane closed. Resurfacing and bridge repair should alert motorist for lanes closures.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and MM 62.5 in order to perform some maintenance work. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on the ramp from I-65 southbound to Old Hickory Blvd. in order to pour concrete.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.)
  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9PM-5AM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform signal work at Dominican.
  • Thursday April 28 through Wednesday May 4, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to perform bridge work.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.
 
 
I-75
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 112.5 and 117.5:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 119: On Thursday night, April 28, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 155.8: On Thursday night, April 28, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 23 and 30:Beginning Sunday night, May 1, 2011, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 36 and 44: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
