Yates Services Seeks Applicants For Nissan Decherd Plant

Qualified Applicants Should Apply At State’s Career Centers

NASHVILLE
– Yates Services, LLC, is looking for jobseekers with skilled qualifications to work at Nissan’s powertrain assembly plant in Decherd, Tennessee.
 
The company will employ around 50 people in positions of Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician and Tool and Die Maker. Interested applicants should apply at one of the Tennessee Department of Labor’s Career Centers.
 
“Our department’s Career Centers across the state are pleased to help recruit applicants for Yates,” said state Labor and workforce Development Commissioner Karla Davis. “Nissan’s assembly plants are a strong component of Tennessee’s auto-related manufacturing economy.”
 
Applicants for the Maintenance Technician and Tool and Die jobs should apply at one of the department’s Career Centers and must take a résumé. Qualifications for the positions are as follows:
 
Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Tech - Résumé and diploma/certificate from a technology center, college, military training center in an industrial maintenance related training course or three years minimum on-the-job experience in industrial maintenance needed to apply; $16.70 minimum starting wage.
 
Tool and Die Maker - Résumé, valid driver’s license, and diploma/certificate from technology center, college or military training center in tool and die related training course or three years minimum on-the-job experience needed to apply; $16.70 minimum starting wage.
