REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Sumner, Hickman, Marshall, Montgomery, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair. Also, there will be barrier wall repair on I-65 northbound at MM 95.0.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

REGION 3, TDOT Maintenance: Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.

CHEATHAM, MONTGOMERY, and ROBERTSON COUNTIES, TDOT Maintenance: Thursday June 8 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker (Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties), in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control. This will be a moving operation.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from KY State Line to SR 76:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 8PM-6AM, (excluding weekend),There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 11.0 to MM 0.0 for paving operations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is State Route 76 (Adams and Clarksville Exit), and Exit 8 is State Route 237 (Rossview Road Exit).

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 18 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

·         Monday June 13 through Wednesday June 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane and a shoulder closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install the containment system for sandblast and paint operations. 
  • Monday June 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install the containment system for sandblast and paint operations.  

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install fiber, cleanup, and install conduit.   
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and one mile north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39)
    • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)
  • Friday June 10 through Sunday June 12, 8PM-5AM, I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64), one left lane closed in each direction, 3 lanes to remain open.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, I-24 Joint Stabilization:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15: No closures scheduled.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Tuesday June 14, 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 westbound between mile markers 92 and 90, to remove reflectors for in-place paving.  One lane will remain open. 
  • Monday June 13, 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound between mile markers 84 and 85, to remove reflectors for in-place paving.  One lane will remain open.
  •  Monday June 13 through Wednesday June 15, 7PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound (Monday night) between mile markers 84 and 85 and I-24 westbound (Tuesday night) between mile markers 92-90, to pave.  One lane will remain open.

MARION COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing from Cave Cove Creek (MM 140.6) to Big Fiery Gizzard Creek (MM 145.75): The contractor will have one lane closed in each direction at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform milling and paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is June 2011. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor continues work on the bridge. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor has begun a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM when traffic could be restricted to a single lane. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is August 2011. 
  • CURRENT ACTIVITIES:
    • There are no lane closures scheduled during this time period because of the Riverbend and Bonnaroo Festivals.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Hernando-DeSoto Bridge Inspection:
  • Wednesday June 8 and Thursday June 9, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: Each day Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will close one eastbound lane for an annual inspection of the bridge.
  • Monday June 13 through Wednesday June 15, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: Each day Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will close one eastbound lane for an annual inspection of the bridge.

SHELBY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Vollentine Avenue to the Jackson Avenue Bridge:Wednesday June 8 through Wednesday June 15, 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lanes closed eastbound and westbound for milling the I-40 bridge over state route 14/Jackson Avenue to the bridge over Hollywood Drive. Two lanes will be closed at a time with one lane remaining open. Ramps could be closed periodically.
 
HAYWOOD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40:Sunday June 12 through Thursday June 16, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be milling operations from mile marker 43 to 45 on east and west bound lanes. One lane will remain open at all times. Tennessee Highway Patrol will be assisting with traffic control.

MADISON COUNTY, Widening on US412/SR20 I-40 at Hollywood Drive:Sunday June 12, 5:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.:  The ON ramp at I-40 eastbound at Hollywood Drive/US412 will be closed and re-routed to Old Hickory Boulevard. The OFF ramp on I-40 will be open and traffic will be flagged. This closure will allow the contractor to safely place two concrete pipes across the ramp.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 346.4:On Monday night, June 13, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 358.9:On Monday night, June 13, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 383:On Monday night, June 13, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs.  Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East and West near Northshore Drive (Exit 5):Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks at various times daily through this blasting zone between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Motorists should reduce speed and be alert for sudden stops, slowed traffic and use extreme caution approaching this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning SR385 to north of Walnut Grove Road:Sunday June 12 through Thursday, June 16, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lane closures on I-240 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 16.0 to mile marker 13.0 to begin milling. Two eastbound and westbound lanes will remain open.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday June 8 through Wednesday June 15, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, Safety Improvement on the Ramps to I-55 at junction of Crump Boulevard:Wednesday June 8 through Wednesday June 15: There be a lane closure thru phase 1 construction westbound along Crump Blvd and Riverside for clearing, grubbing, installing pipe, and working on catch basins at Ramp B. One lane will remain open. There will continue to be shoulder closures at “OFF” Ramp D eastbound to Crump Blvd. There will also be partial closures at Crump and Kentucky Street to construct handicap ramps.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday June 8 and Thursday June 15, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open. Exit 9 (southbound, Mallory Exit will remain closed with traffic being detoured to Exit 8 (Horn Lake Exit).

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be outside shoulder closures on the on ramp from SR 96 ramp I-65 northbound for excavation and retaining wall construction.

REGION 3, On-Call Signs:Thursday June 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be two lanes of I-65 southbound at Dickerson Rd. closed in order to install sign footers.

ROBERTSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, I-65 Joint Stabilization:Thursday June 9 through Wednesday June 15: No closures scheduled.

ROBERTSON and SUMNER COUNTIES, TDOT Maintenance: Thursday June 8 through Wednesday June 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-65 from 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker (Robertson and Sumner Counties) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control. This will be a moving operation.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 108.1: On Sunday night, June 12, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 112.5 and 117.5:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 125:On Sunday night, June 12, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 36 and 44: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
