REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday June 15 through Wednesday June 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Sumner, Hickman, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair. Also, there will be barrier wall repair on I-65 northbound at MM 95.0.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Wednesday June 15 through Wednesday June 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

REGION 3, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from KY State Line to SR 76:Wednesday June 15 through Wednesday June 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 11.0 to MM 0.0 for paving operations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is State Route 76 (Adams and Clarksville Exit), and Exit 8 is State Route 237 (Rossview Road Exit).

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 18 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:
  • Thursday June 16 and Friday June 17, 9AM-3PM, I-24 eastbound left shoulder closed for containment bracket spacing on parapet wall. 
  • Saturday June 18 and Sunday June 19, 5AM-6PM, I-24 westbound left lane and shoulder will be closed for concrete repair on the drains.  

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install fiber, cleanup, and install conduit.   
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and one mile north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39)
    • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)

MARION COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing from Cave Cove Creek (MM 140.6) to Big Fiery Gizzard Creek (MM 145.75): The contractor will have one lane closed in each direction at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform milling and paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is June 2011.  
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor continues work on the bridge. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor has begun a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM when traffic could be restricted to a single lane. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is August 2011. 
  • CURRENT ACTIVITIES
    • No Work is scheduled from Thursday, June 16 to Saturday June 18 due to the Riverbend Festival.
    • Sunday, June 19 through Wednesday, June 22 eastbound and westbound from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for bridge deck repairs as well as milling and paving. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Hernando-DeSoto Bridge Inspection:
  • Wednesday June 15 and Thursday June 16, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: Each day Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will close one eastbound lane for an annual inspection of the bridge.
  • Monday June 20 through Wednesday June 22, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: Each day Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will close one eastbound lane for an annual inspection of the bridge.

SHELBY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Vollentine Avenue to the Jackson Avenue Bridge:
  • Wednesday June 15 through Wednesday June 22, 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lanes closed eastbound and westbound for milling the I-40 bridge over state route 14/Jackson Avenue to the bridge over Hollywood Drive. Two lanes will be closed at a time with one lane remaining open. Ramps could be closed periodically.
 
TDOT Regionwide Retracing Pavement Marking Lines (Various Interstate & State Routes):
  • Monday June 20 through Sunday June 26, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. FAYETTE COUNTY: There will be a lane closed on westbound Interstate 40 between Exit 35 and Exit 42 for the installation of spray thermo pavement marking. One lane will remain open. TN Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control.
  • Monday June 20 through Sunday June 26, 8:00 p.m.-6:00a.m. HAYWOOD COUNTY: There will be a lane closed on westbound Interstate 40 between Exit 55 and Exit 66 for the installation of spray thermo pavement marking. One lane will remain open. TN Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40:Sunday June 19 through Thursday June 23, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be milling operations from mile marker 43 to 45 on east and west bound lanes. One lane will remain open at all times. Tennessee Highway Patrol will be assisting with traffic control.

DICKSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 in Dickson, Hickman, & Humphreys Counties (MM 148 – MM 182):Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating laneclosures on I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 172-181 in order to mill, pave, fog seal the shoulders, and place shoulder stone.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
  • Thursday June 16 through Friday June 17, 8PM-5AM, Close two lanes each direction of I-40 at White Bridge Road for overhead bridge work.
  • Friday June 17, 8PM through Monday June 20, 5AM, Close one lane each direction of I-40 at White Bridge Road for overhead sign installation. Two lanes will remain open in each direction. 
  • Sunday June 19, 8PM-5AM, Close an additional lane each direction for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Monday June 20 through Wednesday June 22, 8PM-5AM, Close two lanes each direction for bridge work and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East and West near Northshore Drive (Exit 5):Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks at various times daily through this blasting zone between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Motorists should reduce speed and be alert for sudden stops, slowed traffic and use extreme caution approaching this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning SR-385 to north of Walnut Grove Road:Sunday June 19 through Thursday, June 23, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lane closures on I-240 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 16.0 to mile marker 13.0 to begin milling. Two eastbound and westbound lanes will remain open.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday June 15 through Wednesday June 22, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday June 15 and Thursday June 22, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open. Exit 9 (southbound, Mallory Exit will remain closed with traffic being detoured to Exit 8 (Horn Lake Exit).

SHELBY COUNTY, Safety Improvement on the Ramps to I-55 at junction of Crump Boulevard:Wednesday June 15 through Wednesday June 22: There will be a lane closure thru phase 1 construction westbound along Crump Blvd and Riverside for clearing, grubbing, installing pipe, and working on catch basins at Ramp B. One lane will remain open. There will continue to be shoulder closures at “OFF” Ramp D eastbound to Crump Blvd. There will also be partial closures at Crump and Kentucky Street to construct handicap ramps.

  • Wednesday June 15 and Thursday June 16, 8PM-2AM, There will be closures on I-65 south of SR 96 in order to remove and reset barrier rail at the bore locations.
  • Thursday June 16, 1PM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-65 northbound north of SR 96 in order to blast for a retaining wall.
  • Thursday June 16 and Friday June 17, 8PM-5AM, The outside shoulder of I-65 southbound south of the SR 96 on ramp will be closed in order to place portable barrier rail for retaining wall excavation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22: No closures scheduled.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9PM-5AM, and Saturday June 18 and Sunday June 19, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to mill and pave the roadway.
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions in order to paint the structural steel.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 16 through Wednesday June 22, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.
 
 
I-75
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 112.5 and 117.5:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 36 and 44: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
