REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Robertson, Sumner, Hickman, Marshall, Wilson, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

MONTGOMERY, CHEATHAM, and ROBERTSON COUNTIES:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the  0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control. This will be a moving operation.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from KY State Line to SR 76:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 westbound from MM 11.0 to MM 0.0 in order to mill and stripe the roadway and install guardrail.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is State Route 76 (Adams and Clarksville Exit), and Exit 8 is State Route 237 (Rossview Road Exit).

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 18 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).

REGION 3, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Friday June 3, 8PM through Monday June 6, 6AM, and Monday June 6 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane and a shoulder closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install the containment system for sandblast and paint operations.  

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install fiber, cleanup, and install conduit.   
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and one mile north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39)
    • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, I-24 Joint Stabilization:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8: No closures scheduled.

MARION COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing from Cave Cove Creek (MM 140.6) to Big Fiery Gizzard Creek (MM 145.75): The contractor will have one lane closed in each direction at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform milling and paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is June 2011. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor continues work on the bridge. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor has begun a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM when traffic could be restricted to a single lane. THP will assist with traffic control. 
  • CURRENT ACTIVITIES
    • Thursday, June 2 eastbound and westbound from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for bridge deck repairs as well as milling and paving. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.
    • Friday, June 3 at 7PM through Monday, June 6 at 6AM eastbound and westbound. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for various concrete bridge deck repairs as well as milling and paving. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained except for between the hours of 10PM-5AM when only one lane may be available. 
    • Monday, June 6 through Wednesday, June 8 eastbound and westbound from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for bridge deck repairs as well as milling. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday June 1 through Wednesday June 8, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Vollentine Avenue to the Jackson Avenue Bridge:Wednesday June 1 through Wednesday June 8, 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lanes closed eastbound and westbound for milling the I-40 bridge over state route 14/Jackson Avenue to the bridge over Hollywood Drive. Two lanes will be closed at a time with one lane remaining open. Ramps could be closed periodically.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40:Sunday June 5 through Thursday June 9, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be milling operations from mile marker 43 to 45 on east and west bound lanes. One lane will remain open at all times. Tennessee Highway Patrol will be assisting with traffic control.

REGION 3, On-Call Pavement Marking:Friday June 3 and Saturday June 4, 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling lane closures on I-40 in Cheatham Co. in order to restripe the roadway.

REGION 3, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:Thursday June 2, 7PM-9PM, On Charlotte Pike and I-40 pulling fiber optic cable underneath overpass on and off ramps. This request, by Comcast with two police cars and traffic control.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
  • Saturday June 4,6AM-6PM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 EB and WB at White Bridge Road to set pedestrian bridge beams.  Close the I-40 EB ramp to NB Briley Pkwy. for crane placement.  Ramp should be open by 9am.
  • Saturday June 4, 8AM-6PM, Install new traffic signal at the White Bridge Road/ I-40 WB off-ramp/on-ramp intersection.  Flaggers will be used with Metro PD.  Work will not start until the I-40 EB ramp to Briley NB is open.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West between Papermill Drive (MM 383) and Watt Road (MM 369): On Tuesday night, June 7, 2011, motorists should be alert for a mobile left lane closure in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform roadway maintenance activities. Motorists should use extreme caution and be alert for slow moving equipment through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East near Mile Marker 393.1:On Thursday night, June 2, 2011 and Friday night, June 3, 2011, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures in this area between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning for guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area. 

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West at Strawberry Plains Pike (Exit 398):On Thursday, June 2, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures on the exit ramps as crews perform sign installations. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East and West near Northshore Drive (Exit 5):Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks at various times daily through this blasting zone between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Motorists should reduce speed and be alert for sudden stops, slowed traffic and use extreme caution approaching this area.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday June 1 through Wednesday June 8, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning SR385 to north of Walnut Grove Road:Tuesday June 1 through Thursday, June 9, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lane closures on I-240 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 16.0 to mile marker 13.0 to begin milling. Two eastbound and westbound lanes will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday June 1 and Thursday June 8 1, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, Safety Improvement on the Ramps to I-55 at junction of Crump Boulevard:Wednesday June 1 through Wednesday June 8: There will be lane closures westbound along Crump Boulevard and Riverside Drive for clearing and installing pipe. One lane will remain open. There will also continue to close shoulders at off Ramp D eastbound to Crump Boulevard. Partials closures could also occur at Crump and Kentucky Street to construct handicap ramps.

DYER COUNTY, I-155:Wednesday June 1 through Wednesday June 8, 7:00 a.m. -7:00 a.m. Resurfacing and bridge repair should alert motorist for lanes closures.There will be one northbound and one southbound lane closed.

REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Robertson, Sumner, Hickman, Marshall, Wilson, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair. Also, there will be barrier wall repair on I-65 northbound at MM 95.0.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Tuesday June 7 and Wednesday June 8, 7PM-3AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-65 northbound between mile marker 59 and mile marker 60 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday June 2 Wednesday June 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and MM 62.5 in order to perform some maintenance work. One lane will remain open. There will also be outside shoulder closures on I-65 for excavation and retaining wall construction.

WILLIAMSON and DAVIDSON COUNTIES, TDOT Utilities:
  • Sunday June 5, 7AM to 6PM, Over I-65 and Franklin Pike near the Bedford Forest Memorial Park in Davidson County. This request is by Nashville Electric service for pulling and transferring transmission lines. Six rolling stop blocks are expected and ten police cars will be present.
  • Sunday June 5, 7AM-12 Noon, On I-65 near Duplex Road overpass bridge in Williamson County. This request by Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corp. for adding conductors to an existing route. Three rolling stop blocks are expected and six police cars will be present.

  • Saturday June 4, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform signal work at Dominican Dr.
  • Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions in order to paint the structural steel.

This will be a moving operation.

OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 112.5 and 117.5:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 119.9:On Tuesday night, June 7, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 132.2:On Tuesday night, June 7, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 36 and 44: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South at Exit 51:On Thursday, June 2, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures on the exit ramps as crews perform sign installations. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution in this area.
