Scenic 73 will be open in both directions over holiday weekend

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The bridge replacement project on Scenic 73 in Townsend continues. Contractor Charles Blalock and Sons, Inc. has started work on the temporary Bailey Bridge.
The road will be open to two lanes of traffic (one in each direction) throughout the holiday weekend. Crews will cease operations this evening, and resume work on Tuesday morning.
