Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Scott County set for Friday morning

Knoxville, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation Regional Director Steve Borden will join Senator Ken Yager and other state and local officials in Scott County tomorrow to celebrate the recent completion of a construction project, which includes a new concrete bulb-tee bridge over State Route 29 and Norfolk Southern Railroad.
 
The $2.7 million project was funded through the State Industrial Access (SIA) program, which is in place to help facilitate the development and expansion of industry within the State of Tennessee.
 
Tomorrow’s event will begin at 10:15 a.m. at Galloway Drive and Airport Road. See below for directions to event site. The event will last approximately 20 minutes.

Directions:  From the East: Travel west on State Route 63. Take a right onto Scott Hwy/US 27/SR 29.  Go 3.5 miles, then turn right onto Galloway Drive (at sign for Scott County Airport).
 
From the West: Travel east on State Route 52. Turn left Scott Hwy/US 27. Go 11.5 miles, then turn right onto Galloway Drive (at sign for Scott County Airport).
 
From the North: Travel south on Scott Hwy/US 27/SR 29. Turn left onto Galloway Drive.
 
From the South: Travel north on Scott Hwy/US 27/SR 29. Turn right onto Galloway Drive.
