ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 118.5: On Thursday night, July 14, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
(Recovery Act Project) ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 61 Bridge over Poplar Creek in Oliver Springs: Motorists should use caution through this bridge widening project. 
 
BLOUNT COUNTY, TN-73 Scenic (East Lamar Alexander Parkway) at Stables Drive in Townsend:East Lamar Alexander Parkway (TN 73-Scenic) at Stables Drive, near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in Townsend will be reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal at various times for the bridge construction project on Stables Drive. Traffic on Stables Drive is also being controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Two travel lanes will be open on Scenic 73 during periods when the contractor is not present and during times when work activities are being performed on the opposite side of the Little River that do not require additional space alongside the roadway. The temporary traffic signals that are currently in place will be set to a cautionary flash during times that both lanes are available for travel. When the lane restriction is in place, the traffic signals will be activated to control the traffic movement one direction at a time. Motorists in this area should be alert for changing conditions, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 33 Bridge over Little River at Log Mile 16.9:  Motorists should be alert for a lane closure which will reduce the roadway to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this bridge repair project.
 
BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 336 Brick Mill Rd. near Old Niles Ferry Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times as crews continue to perform work on this project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution in this area.

CARTER COUNTY, SR 91 over Holly Springs Branch at Log Mile 13.07: Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution traveling through this structure replacement project.
 
CARTER COUNTY, US 321 (SR 159) over Elk River at Log Mile 7.23: US 321/SR 159 is closed to thru traffic and detoured around this bridge replacement project. Motorists should follow signed detour route and adjust travel times accordingly.
 
GRAINGER COUNTY, US 11W (SR 1) Bridge over Richland Creek at Log Mile 16.2 and 17.8: Motorists should be alert for a lane closures at Log Mile 16.20 (Justice Center Drive) and Log Mile 17.84 (Rocky Branch Rd) for bridge repairs.   Traffic is controlled by temporary traffic signals around the clock through this bridge repair project. Traffic loads in excess of 10 feet in width should follow the signed detour route. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution while traveling through this area.
 
GREENE COUNTY, SR 350 over Richland Creek between Leming St. and McKee St.: State Route 350 is closed to thru traffic and is being detoured around this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for signed detour routes and use extreme caution through this area.
 
HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 343 between Parker Road and SR 32: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

HAWKINS COUNTY, SR 31 Bridge over Poor Valley Creek (LM 2.34) near Mooresburg Springs Rd.: State Route 31 is reduced from two lanes to one around the clock through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, use extreme caution and expect potential delays through this area.
 
JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-81 North near Mile Marker 5.0: On Tuesday night, July 19, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
JOHNSON COUNTY, SR 67 over Doe Creek at Log Mile 5.61: State Route 67 is reduced from two lanes to one around the clock and is being controlled by a temporary traffic signal through this bridge repair project. Traffic loads wider than 12 feet are prohibited through this area and should seek alternate routes. Traffic loads with a weight in excess of 30 tons are prohibited. Dugger Hollow Road at the intersection of State Route 67 is closed and motorists should follow signed detour route. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution traveling through this area.
 
JOHNSON COUNTY, SR 67 over Goose Creek at Log Mile 16.78: State Route 67 is reduced from two lanes to one around the clock and is being controlled by a temporary traffic signal through this bridge repair project. Traffic loads wider than 10 feet are prohibited through this area and should seek alternate routes. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution traveling through this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West near Mile Marker 3.3: On Sunday night, July 17, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East and West near Northshore Drive (Exit 5): Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks at various times daily through this blasting zone between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Motorists should reduce speed and be alert for sudden stops, slowed traffic and use extreme caution approaching this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, SR 331 Tazewell Pike between Broadway and Baum Lane: On Thursday night, July 14, 2011, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures with flag persons directing traffic between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews install utilities across the roadway. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, SR 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy. /Western Ave.) between Schaad Road and Copper Kettle Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times throughout this widening project. Motorists traveling in this area should be alert for workers and equipment present and be alert for changing traffic conditions, detours, traffic shifts and use caution through this area. Hinton Road at Western Avenue and Jimmy Carter Road at Western Avenue and Beaver Ridge Road at Western Avenue are closed for construction. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and follow signed detour route.
 
KNOX COUNTY, SR 158 Neyland Drive approaching the Henley Bridge:Neyland Drive is reduced to one lane in each direction around the clock approaching the overhead Henley Bridge and new lane shifts are in place. Beginning, Thursday July 14, 2011, the westbound traffic will be shifted to utilize one of the lanes on the eastbound side underneath the Henley Bridge. During this time, Locust Street will be closed from Hill Street to Neyland with only local access to the gravel parking lot allowed.  This traffic control configuration is estimated to remain in place around the clock seven days a week through August 15, 2011. Motorists should be alert for new traffic patterns, lane shifts, a reduced speed limit, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area. LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 74: Motorists should be alert for lane closures in place around the clock, seven days a week in both directions approaching the bridge over the Tennessee River near Mile Marker 74 as crews perform bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic approaching this area, expect potential long delays and use extreme caution through this area.
 
LOUDON COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 368: On Sunday night, July 17, 2011 and Monday night, July 18, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
LOUDON COUNTY, SR 72 between the Monroe County Line and Old Vonore Road: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area. 
 
LOUDON COUNTY, Unitia Road Bridge over Cloyd Creek at Log Mile 1.72: Unitia Road is closed to thru traffic as crews perform work on this bridge construction project. The signed detour for this closure will utilize US 321 and SR 333. Motorists in this area should be alert for changed conditions, adjust travel times and use caution. This closure is estimated to be in place until Fall 2011.
 
MONROE COUNTY, SR 165 (Cherohola Skyway) between Quarry Creek Road and the North Carolina State Line: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures daily through this resurfacing project. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.
 
MORGAN COUNTY, SR 29/US 27 Bridge over White Oak Creek at Log Mile 23:Motorists should be alert for a lane closure which will reduce the roadway to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Motorists should be alert for this new traffic condition, workers present and use extreme caution through this project.
 
MORGAN COUNTY, SR 62 between SR 29/US 27 and Petit Lane:Motorists should be alert for new traffic shifts, changed conditions, workers present and use caution through this project.
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 352.6: On Sunday night, July 17, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East near Mile Marker 344.6 and 356.6: On Monday night, July 18, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
ROANE COUNTY, SR 1 /US 70 at Old Kingston Highway: Old Kingston Highway at the intersection with US 70 across from Country Club Road is closed as crews reconstruct this road for realignment with US 70. This closure is estimated to be in place until September 1, 2011. Motorists should follow signed detour route and use caution in this area.

SEVIER COUNTY, SR 35 (Chapman Hwy.) SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 75 between Washington County Line and Herron Drive: Motorists should use caution and be alert for new traffic patterns through this bridge replacement project as traffic lanes have been shifted onto the new bridge.
 
UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures during daylight hours and use caution through this resurfacing project. 
 
UNION COUNTY, SR 144 East (Ailor Gap Road) near Johnson Road: SR 144 East (Ailor Gap Road) is closed to thru traffic around as crews perform bridge construction over the North Fork of Bull Run Creek. Motorists should follow signed detour route utilizing SR 61 and SR 370. Motorists should use extreme caution in this area and adjust travel times accordingly. This project is estimated to be complete on or before September 30, 2011.
UNION COUNTY, Existing SR 33 Bridge over Clinch River (Norris Lake): The existing State Route 33 Bridge over Norris Lake is posted with weight limit restrictions and is being strictly enforced. Weight restrictions are: 5 axle vehicles are 35 tons; 3 or 4 axle vehicle is 22 tons; 2 axle vehicles are 20 tons. VEHICLES WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF THE RESTRICTED WEIGHTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE AND MUST FOLLOW A DETOUR ROUTE.
 
UNION COUNTY, SR 33 Bridge Project over Clinch River (Norris Lake): Motorists traveling on State Route 33 crossing the bridge over Norris Lake should be alert for workers present and flag persons directing traffic at various times as equipment enters and exits the roadway through this bridge replacement project. Motorists approaching this area should reduce speeds and use extreme caution through this area.
 
UNION COUNTY, SR 33 between South of SR 144 (Hickory Star Rd.) and SR 61 East:Motorists should use caution and be alert for workers flagging traffic at various times and be alert for changed conditions through this widening project.
Pine Street and Oak Street at the intersection of SR 33 is closed to thru traffic. Motorists should follow signed detour to Johnson Road and Cross Creek Road to access Pine Street and Oak Street.
 
WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
