TWRC Meeting Schedule Resumes in August

NASHVILLE --- After taking the month of July off from its meeting schedule, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission will next meet Aug. 24-25 (Wednesday-Thursday) in Kingsport at the Meadowview Conference Resort and Convention Center.
The TWRC will return to the Kingsport location for first time since it met there in October 2009. Committee meetings will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday while the formal session starts at 9 a.m. on Thursday. The TWRC serves as the governing body of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
Among the early items on the agenda will be the establishment of the 2011-12 waterfowl hunting seasons. The public is invited to attend.
