MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from KY State Line to SR 76:Thursday July 28 through Sunday July 31, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 11.0 to MM 0.0 for paving operations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday July 28 through Wednesday August 3, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is State Route 76 (Adams and Clarksville Exit), and Exit 8 is State Route 237 (Rossview Road Exit).

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday July 28 through Wednesday August 3, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 18 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams). 

REGION 3, On-Call Signs:Thursday July 28, 8PM-5AM, The right lane of I-24 westbound at MM 49.0 (Shelby Ave.) will be closed in order to hang an overhead sign.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Thursday July 28 through Wednesday August 3: No closures scheduled. 

MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor continues work on the bridge. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair:  The contractor continues a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM when traffic could be restricted to a single lane. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is August 2011. 
  • CURRENT ACTIVITIES
    • Thursday, July 28, 2011 eastbound and westbound LM 8.3/MM 179.3 (Market Street) to LM 10.4/MM 181.4 (Dodds Ave.) from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for milling and paving work. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.
    • Friday, July 29 at 7PM through Monday August 1 at 6AM westbound (LM 11.1/MM 182.1). The contractor will shift traffic and close one lane to perform bridge deck repairs and paving on the outside lanes of the bridge on Missionary Ridge on I-24 West. At least two lanes of traffic will be maintained throughout the weekend.
    • Monday, August 1 through Wednesday, August 3, 2011 eastbound and westbound LM 8.3/MM 179.3 (Market Street) to LM 10.4/MM 181.4 (Dodds Ave.) from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for milling and paving work. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

SHELBY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Vollentine Avenue to the Jackson Avenue Bridge:Wednesday July 27 through Friday July 29, 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.: Each night there will be lanes closed eastbound and westbound for paving the I-40 bridge over state route 14/Jackson Avenue to the bridge over Hollywood Drive. Two lanes will be closed at a time with one lane remaining open. Ramps could be closed periodically. They will also be placing shoulder gravel on the I-40 section eastbound and westbound between SR 14 and the bridge Hollywood Drive. Ramps could be closed periodically

DICKSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 in Dickson, Hickman, & Humphreys Counties (MM 148 – MM 182):Thursday July 28 through Sunday July 31, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating laneclosures on I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 148-182 in order to install snow plowable markers and place permanent striping.
 
DICKSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities: Sunday July 31, 7AM-10AM, On I-40 at the Exit 172 Hwy 46 in Dickson County. This request by Dickson Electric System, pulling fiber optic cable over I-40, four rolling stops are expected, police cars will be present.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 369 (Watt Road) and 373 (Campbell Station Road):On Sunday night, July 31, 2011, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures in this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform bridge joint repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East near Mile Marker 438.4:On Monday, August 1, 2011, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure during daylight hours as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East and West near Northshore Drive (Exit 5):Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks at various times daily through this blasting zone between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Motorists should reduce speed and be alert for sudden stops, slowed traffic and use extreme caution approaching this area.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday July 27 through Wednesday August 3, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning SR385 to north of Walnut Grove Road:
  • Friday July 29 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday August 1, 6:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures on I-240 westbound from mile marker 16.0 to mile marker 13.0 to begin milling and paving. Two westbound lanes will be closed with one lane remaining open.
  • Sunday July 31 through Friday August 5 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures eastbound and westbound (mm16.0 to mm 13.0) for paving operations. There will be 2 eastbound lanes closed, one will remain open.
  • LOOK AHEAD:Friday August 5 at 8:00 pm through Monday August 8 6:00 am: There will be lanes closures on I-240 westbound (mm 16.0-mm 13.0) for milling and paving operations. There will be 2 lanes closed, and one will remain open

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday July 27 through Wednesday August 3, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday July 27 through Wednesday August 3, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate bridge 1. One southbound lane will remain open. Exit 9 (southbound, Mallory Exit will remain closed with traffic being detoured to Exit 8 (Horn Lake Exit).

SHELBY COUNTY, Safety Improvement on the Ramps to I-55 at junction of Crump Boulevard:Wednesday July 27 through Wednesday August 3: There will be temporary median closures on Crump to I-55 westbound, to remove and patch concrete median in order to open Ramp B. Closure needed to remove barrier rail at Ramp “D”, in order to shift traffic for phase 2 construction. Closure needed to place barrier rail on I-55 leading to Ramp “A” for phase 2 construction and to permanently remove ramp leading to I-55.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday July 27 through Wednesday August 3, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DYER COUNTY, I-155,Wednesday July 27 through Wednesday August 3, 7:00 a.m. -7:00 a.m.: Resurfacing and bridge repair should alert motorist for lanes closures. There will be one northbound and one southbound lane closed.

 
I-65

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday July 28 and Wednesday August 3, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound and northbound between MM 66.2 and MM 62.6 in order to pave and prepare for a traffic shift.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):Thursday July 28 through Wednesday August 3: No closures scheduled.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):
  • Thursday July 28 through Wednesday August 3, 9PM-5AM and Saturday July 30, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to install traffic and pedestrian signals and pave.
  • Thursday July 28 through Wednesday August 3, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to pave the tie ins at the ramps, removal of barrier rail, and pavement marking.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday July 28, Tuesday August 2 and Wednesday August 3, 8PM-3AM, I-65 in both directions between mile marker 87 and mile marker 90 two left lanes will be closed for milling and paving and crack sealing. Two lanes will remain open.

FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.
 
 
I-75
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 74:Motorists should be alert for lane closures in place around the clock, seven days a week in both directions approaching the bridge over the Tennessee River near Mile Marker 74 as crews perform bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic approaching this area, expect potential long delays and use extreme caution through this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 141:On Friday, July 29, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform median work. Motorists should use extreme caution approaching this area and be prepared to stop for slowed traffic.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
