NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will have a strong presence at the inaugural Land and Wildlife Expo to be held Aug. 12-14 (Friday-Sunday) at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville.

The TWRA, along with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NCRS), are among the sponsors for the event. The Land and Wildlife Expo is the first ever event of its type designed for persons interested in managing their land for wildlife.

TWRA and NRCS will have wildlife biologists placed at various areas to provide assistance on managing a particular piece of property and to answer questions concerning habitat areas. There will be an outdoor demonstration area at the complex with archery, clay target shooting, ATV demonstrations, truck demonstrations, treestand demonstrations, and an entire 15 acre habitat demonstration area complete with 16 different food plot trials for viewing.

A wide range of vendors will be present in the exhibit area with everything from equipment and implement dealers to seed, tree, and shrub distributors. The latest products related to wildlife management will be on display. Mossy Oak will be hosting its True North Seminar section with the speakers being some of the nation’s best experts on wildlife management.
