Governor Haslam, Mayor Dean Join TDOT Commissioner on “Projects Tour”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Nashville Mayor Karl Dean will join Department of Transportation Commissioner John Schroer as his statewide “TDOT Projects Tour” stops in Nashville on Friday, September 16, 2011. During the tour, the group will travel by bus to view upcoming road projects in Nashville, including the widening of Interstate 65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Road.
Media interested in joining the Projects Tour should be in front of the Tennessee State Capitol on Charlotte Avenue by 2:15 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011. The tour of Nashville projects is expected to last approximately one hour. The tour bus will then return attendees to the Tennessee State Capitol.
