DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Thursday September 15 through Wednesday September 21: No closures scheduled. 

REGION 3, On Call Concrete Repair:Monday September 19 through Wednesday September 21, 6AM-8PM, Traffic on the I-24 westbound exit ramp at exit 74A (SR 840) in Rutherford County will be shifted in order to perform concrete work on the ramp. One lane will remain open.

MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor continues work on the bridge. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor continues a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for paving, striping or clean-up work. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is September 2011.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-26 East near Mile Marker 10.9: On Thursday night, September 15, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday September 14 through Wednesday September 21, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday September 15 through Wednesday September 21, (excluding weekends), 7PM-5AM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 in both directions in Cheatham County between mile marker 186 and mile marker 192 in order to patch pot holes in the concrete bridge decks. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Rd. Interchange:
  • Saturday September 17, 7AM-12 Noon, The left lane of I-40 westbound at White Bridge Road/Briley Parkawy will be closed in order to fog seal the shoulder.
  • Saturday September 17, 6:30AM-7PM, Close the I-40 westbound to Briley northbound flyover ramp and the I-40 eastbound to Briley northbound flyover to pave the joint at the north end of the bridges.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Elm Hill Pike over I-40:Friday September 16, 11:30PM through Saturday September 17, 11:30 PM, There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound at mile marker 217 in order to paint the bridge beams. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

TDOT Geotech:Thursday September 15 and Monday September 19 through Tuesday September 20, 9AM-3PM, Old Hickory Blvd. flyover ramp in Hermitage to I-40 westbound will be reduced to one lane for drilling.  One lane will remain open.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 370.1: On Sunday night, September 18, 2011 through Tuesday night, September 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform median wall repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 442 and 451:Motorists should be alert for lane closures in place around the clock in both directions approaching mile markers 443, 447 and 451 as crews perform median wall repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 near Exit 1: On Monday night, September 19, 2011 and Tuesday night, September 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform overhead sign replacements. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East near Northshore Drive (Exit 5):Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures in this area. Motorists should use caution through this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Tuesday September 20, 8PM-4AM, The left lane will be closed onI-440 eastbound at I-24 eastbound junction between mile marker 7.4 and mile marker 7.6 for milling and paving. 
 
 
I-640
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West to I-75 North: On Sunday night, September 18, 2011 and Monday night, September 19, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning as maintenance crews mill and resurface the roadway in this area. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

 
I-55

REGION 4, TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday September 14 through Wednesday September 21, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

SHELBY COUNTY, Safety Improvement on the Ramps to I-55 at junction of Crump Boulevard:Wednesday September 14 through Wednesday September 21: There will continue to be a lane closure and shoulder closure for clearing operations at Ramp A and permanent removal of ramps leading to I-55.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday September 14 through Wednesday September 21, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate bridge 1. One southbound lane will remain open. Exit 9 (southbound, Mallory Exit will remain closed with traffic being detoured to Exit 8 (Horn Lake Exit).

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday September 15, 7PM-3AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between mile marker 60 and mile marker 57 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:
  • Thursday September 15 through Wednesday September 21, 12 Noon, Traffic will be paced on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 62.0 and MM 63.0 in order to blast.
  • Thursday September 15 through Wednesday September 21, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be one lane of I-65 northbound and southbound closed in order to pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):Wednesday September 14   through Wednesday September 21, 9PM to 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd and the I-65 southbound exit ramp for paving operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the Junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):Monday September 19 through Wednesday September 21, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound and northbound in order to remove construction signs.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

 
I-75
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 74: Beginning Friday, September 16, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure on I-75 North approaching the bridge over the Tennessee River near Mile Marker 74. This closure will be in place during daylight hours as crews complete bridge deck repairs. The lane closure will switch to the southbound side once the northbound repairs are complete. Motorists should expect potential long delays and use extreme caution approaching and this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-75 South Ramp to I-640 West: On Sunday night, September 18, 2011 and Monday night, September 19, 2011, the ramp to I-640 West from I-75 South will be closed to traffic between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning as maintenance crews mill and resurface the roadway in this area. During this closure, motorists on I-75 South wishing to access I-640 West should follow I-275 South to I-40 as a detour. Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic approaching this area and use extreme caution.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South between Mile Markers 120 and 118.5:On Monday night, September 19, 2011 and Tuesday night, September 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.
 
ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 121.4:On Monday night, September 19, 2011 and Tuesday night, September 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 54 and 57: Motorists should be alert for a lane closure in both directions in place around the clock as crews perform bridge repairs near Mile Marker 56. Motorists should expect potential long delays and use extreme caution approaching and this area.

 
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
